Our name was chosen to reflect our roots. The word "Reformed" links us to the great Protestant Reformation that began in 1517. But a study of church history will show you that the Reformers did not start a new church movement. They were simply seeking to restore the faith that was handed down to us by the apostles ( jude 1:3)

The word Evangelical says we preach the good news of the gospel of our

Lord Jesus Christ. This good news is : (A) Christ Jesus Came into the world to save sinners(1 Tim 1:15); (B) salvation is the free gift of God to all who believe in Jesus ( Romans 6:23, Acts 16;31)

Also, in the Bible the word "church " is not a building, but an identifiable assembly of people gathered for the specific purpose to worship God, or as Peter put it, " to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ"(1 Peter 2:5). We have an identifiable membership under the leadership of pastors and deacons ( 1 tim 3-13)

We would like to add the word "baptist". We are also a Baptist Church. As Baptists we believe that Only those who have repented of their sins and believed in Jesus for Salvation can be baptized.
