Ekklesia Word Ministries Transmitting Truth, Transforming Lives Ekklesia Camp was started in 1982 in Point Fortin by Mr. and Mrs. Ekklesia Camp caters from ages 0 to 120.

Terrence Pierre (fondly called Uncle Terry and Auntie Carol) and a group of parents from various churches. Along with their family and friends, the believers met at the Pierre’s residence to study the Bible and have good, clean fun at Carnival time. Today, workers come from all over T&T and even beyond to share in this exciting experience. Ekklesia Camp remains primarily a community based day camp

. Approximately 250 persons attend Ekklesia Camp on Carnival Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Ekklesia Camp is ABSOLUTELY FREE! It is funded by the freewill contributions of people like you and organizations that have caught the vision. A delicious free hot meal and a drink are provided for all campers on both days. This year, our theme was “God’s Gym.” Our theme verse, “…train yourself to be godly.” 1 Timothy 4:7b. In Ekklesia Camp 2016, we used lessons from physical training in gymnastics or in a gym and overlay the truths about spiritual training. The key word for this camp was TRAINING. Our slogan was “Power Your Core!!”
