This past weekend (May 2nd 2026), the St Elias Province celebrated with two of its brothers as they were ordained to the Diaconate at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.

Congratulations to Rev. Brs. John Truc, O. Carm and Joseph Tuan Bui, O.Carm.

Let us keep them in prayer as they begin this new Ministry in the church. As we also continue to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Recently, We celebrated World Day of Prayer for Vocations. I’d like to ask that we remember in our daily prayers, all young men discerning a Vocation. May many more join this beautiful ministry God has entrusted to us.
