Church's History

The Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP) is a vibrant, worldwide body of believers, united in worship, working hand-in-hand to share God's love and a message of hope to the broken-hearted. The Church of God of Prophecy has over 150 million members, worshipping in over 10,000 churches and missions in 130 nations worldwide. In Trinidad & Tobago, COGOP has 26 churches under the leaders

COGOP Zion Praise Assembly is a friendly family church, that purposes to bring about reconciliation and to restore families back to God, through the love of God and by ministering the uncompromising Word of God. COGOP Zion Praise is a place of refuge and healing for the abused, broken-hearted and lonely. This ministry is a place where you will 'receive beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for the mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness' Isaiah 61:3. A place to experience a new season of joy, freedom and restoration, a place we call, "Zion."

Beginning March 18, International Children's Ministries will be posting a FREE weekly at-home discipleship lesson for parents to do with their kids. Families might choose to do the lesson in one setting, share the activities throughout the week, or use them in place of their weekly worship service, especially if local ministries have been suspended. This series will focus on TRUST, helping children and families remember that God protects, provides, and is present with them...even in the most unusual times.
