Ms.Jenny Nandoo, a leading and dedicated parishioner of the St.Therese of Lisieux RC church, Rio Claro sadly passed away on Wednesday 11th March 2026.

Ms. Jenny was a woman of profound prayer and a mother to all.
She touched many hearts and loved without limits. To know Ms. Jenny was to know and experience the love of God.🙌🏼

A true giant in the faith and a mighty prayer warrior, she laboured tirelessly for the Lord with humility, kindness, and grace. Her beautiful and gentle soul reflected the goodness of God, and her life was a testimony of love in action.

She served faithfully as choir mistress, lifting her voice in song for the Lord, preached God’s Word as a lay minister, and lovingly brought Holy Communion to the sick.
Her ministry did not stop in the church.
Ms. Jenny had a heart for those in need always ready to help, pray, and give of herself. Through her voice, her prayers, and her service, she became a living witness of God’s love to all who encountered her.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we are deeply grateful for the legacy of faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion she leaves behind.
Ms. Jenny, will be missed dearly, but her prayers, her love, and her example will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.❤️

On behalf of our Parish Priest, Fr. Lindsay John together with all the parishioners of the St.Therese RC church along with its communities, extends our deepest and most sincere condolences to her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family. Thank you for sharing her with us. ❤️

The Funeral Mass for our beloved Jenny Nandoo will take place on Monday 16th of March, 2026 at the St.Therese of Lisieux R.C church at 1:00pm. 💐🕊️

*Please note that the body will repose the church at 12:30pm.

Wake services will be held at the house of mourning on Saturday and Sunday night respectively at 7:30pm. Carpooling is encouraged.

Mother of God, Mother of Mercy, Mother of Grace, pray for the soul of Jenny departed and obtain for her eternal rest.
Eternal rest, eternal peace grant onto her O Lord and let thy perpetual light shine upon her
May she rest in perfect and eternal peace. Amen. 🙏🏼

Youths Anchored in Hope
“Young people are being seen, heard, and recognized”

With grateful hearts, the Archdiocese of Port Spain, together with the Catholic Youth Commission, celebrated and recognized two dedicated young people who continue to serve the Church with love and commitment.

We extend warm congratulations to Esolone Dumont, recognized as a Youth Evangelist, and Maria Herralal, honored as a Youth Volunteer. Their faith, service, and generosity of heart are a true inspiration to many.

We also sincerely thank our parish priest, Fr. Lindsay John, for his constant support, encouragement, and belief in our young people.

We are grateful for all they do and keep them in our prayers as they continue their journey, anchored in hope and guided by God’s grace.
