Our mission is to share the love of Jesus in practical ways, teach the Word of God without compromise, demonstrate practical love through godly living, obey the leading of the Holy Spirit in reproducing disciples, and influence individuals and

families in Moonan Avenue and surrounding areas for the Kingdom of God. The Moonan Avenue New Testament Church of God is located at 3rd Branch Moonan Avenue and was started in October 2011 out of a sincere desire to share the love of Jesus with the people of this area. Wednesday night services are held at 7:00 p.m., Bible Hour on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. The Moonan Avenue Community is a network of several streets, with a population of about 300-400 people. In this small community, there are at least 150 children and young people. Challenges faced in this community include alcoholism, drug abuse, broken families, illiteracy and poverty. Thanks to the provision of God and the generous support of friends locally and abroad, we have been able to purchase a property and are in the process of constructing a building for worship and to better serve the community.

Seeing God’s Love Through the Eyes of Others 📖❤️

One of the most powerful ways to understand God’s love is to see how He loved people in the Bible—real people with real flaws, fears, and failures. Their stories remind us: if God loved them like that… He loves us, too.

• Adam & Eve – After failure, God covered their shame instead of destroying them. Love didn’t walk away.
• Noah – In a broken world, God made a way of preservation. Love provides refuge.
• Abraham – God called him, not because he was perfect, but because God had a purpose. Love invites us into His plan.
• Joseph – Betrayed, imprisoned, forgotten—yet never abandoned. God turned pain into purpose (Genesis 50:20).
• Ruth – An outsider welcomed into God’s redemptive story. Love makes room for the overlooked.
• David – Deep failure met with deep mercy. Love disciplines but does not abandon.
• The Woman at the Well – Fully known, yet fully invited. Love meets us where we are (John 4).
• Peter – After denial came restoration. Love gives second chances (John 21).

God’s love has always been personal, patient, and purposeful—and it’s still the same today.
