Today's Gospel reminds us to allow God to work in us and through us and to be humble in all that we do.

This season of Lent lends itself to a deep inner exploration and journey. Not that this journey should be missing or abandoned at any other time, but Lent is a beautiful reminder for us to tend to our inner chapel.

So today, tend to your soul. Pay attention. Listen. Pray. Fast. Be open to the ways God is working in you. And as 2nd Corinthians reminds us, Be reconciled to God.

Even before He made the world, God loved YOU, God chose YOU.

This morning I want to remind you of your call and to remind you, God made sure to choose You for a unique purpose; for a unique vocation and call. Before He created the world, YOU were loved and chosen. Called to be love in this world. Called to be holy. Called in a unique way.

May you today reflect on what this means in your journey with Him. May you find your way to His heart and to the heart of your call. May you find yourself centered and washed over in His unconditional love for you. His love that existed for you First. And may you embrace His love. May you embrace it and live it every day.

💖 Words cannot fully express the kindness and love received when another can visit those who are suffering. Visiting, not to relieve its pain necessarily, but reminding you that in all seasons you are cared for.

Yesterday was world mental health day. In recognition of those who often battle in silence, I pray that they may encounter kindness through the companionship of others.

May we find ways to visit others in their suffering. Offering ourselves in love and companionship. May we, too, allow ourselves to be companioned in the face of our own sufferings.
