Shared Saturdays is a safe space for parents and teachers to engage, discuss, learn, play and pray together.

Today’s session focused on the importance of having a secure attachment with your child through the stages of development with Alicia Hoyte and THEN it was time to play with Lauren Marcano- Jackson!
Both Alicia and Lauren are AFLC Parenting Facilitators.

During the debrief session, parents realized “we are not alone, other parents face the same challenges, the importance of playing together”.

We gather again later this month to continue our journey together equipping and empowering to be the first teachers of their child in passing on the faith in the home and at school.

On Saturday June 6th, the AFLC met with Family Life Units representatives from the parishes of Santa Rosa/Malabar, St Francis, Sangre Grande, San Rafael and Maloney.

We reflected om the theme "How can we serve families in our parish?" and we laid the platform to getting some of their FLUs up and running.
