Good afternoon guys hope God continues to be the center of your life. Just a reminder that we'll be finishing the Fruit of the Spirit sessions tomorrow. Hopefully we'll see you again. Tomorrow at 5.30 pm in the church.
Last session we did Generosity and Faithfulness. John 4:7-38. We must understand that all our resources comes from God Jehovah Jireh and we as Christians are called to use our resources to be a blessing to others. Goodness demands living in the right relationship with God. Goodness is not a static quality but responds to the needs as presented.
FAITH: we discussed the difference between Faith as a fruit of the spirit and as a gift of the spirit. Fruit allows you to have total confidence in God in trying situations while the gift will give you the power to overcome the situation. Hebrews 11:6

Good evening hope your week has been off to a great start with God at the forefront.
Just a gentle reminder about our next session in continuation of Fruit of the Spirit. We'll be discussing Generosity and Faithfulness.
Tomorrow at 5.30pm in the church.

At our last session we discussed what it really is to have Patience. It's about how we tolerate the irritating faults of others and give the space to repent and to learn to grow. God is patient with our faults so that we will learn to do better next time
Romans 2:4 ....Or do you despise the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?

The 9 Fruit of the Spirit represent the characteristics of a Christian. These are guided by the Holy Spirit and help lead us to a maturity in Christ.
Last session we did Joy and Peace. Philippians 4: 4-7. Rejoice in the Lord always.
Peace is inner stability and tranquility combined with a deep spiritual sense of well being. Meditating on the goodness and faithfulness of God brings us into a state of peace.

Join us tomorrow at 5.30pm in the church for our continuation of "Fruit of the Spirit ". We'll be dealing with Patience and Kindness. See you there! Stay blessed!

Blessed morning,
Tomorrow we'll be at it again with our "Fruit of the Spirit" sessions for our young adults. We'll be dealing with the fruits of Joy and Peace.

Last time we did Love. We looked at the 4 types of love found in the bible. These are Eros, Philos, Agape, and Storge.
Agape is the highest form of love. This is the type of love Jesus Christ showed to his Father and to all humanity. It is selfless, sacrificial and unconditional love.

Good morning! Hope everyone is having a great morning.

Last Wednesday we had a great 1st session. We spoke about the Holy Spirit being part of our lives 1st in order to receive the fruit of the Spirit. We spoke about the enemy putting up obstacles that can take over our thoughts and that can create inward wars that hinder us from leading a positive life that God intended for us. Some of us shared our experiences with the Holy Spirit. We agreed that being open to receiving the Holy Spirit and constant prayer can help us in our battles.
See Galatians 5:13 -23

There is freedom in being led by the Holy Spirit than being led by the flesh.

Good morning everyone. This is an invitation to join us in fellowship, worship and discussion. This is a new initiative to create a space and forum for our young adults of the parish to have a say and learn more in their Christian journey.

Theme: " Fruit of the Spirit" Galatians 5:22-23

Our 1st meeting will take place on Wednesday 14th September 2016. Our sessions will take place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 5pm to 7pm.
The topic for our 1st session is "Battlefield of the Mind, Body and Soul"

Good morning everyone. Youth on the Move is hosting Movie Night once again!
This Friday 12th August (yes tomorrow)
5pm at Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Ice age- collision course and Miracles from Heaven. Two movies for the easy price of $15.
