International Women’s Day 2026

The theme for International Women’s Day 2026 is “Give to Gain,” we are reminded that in the Kingdom of God, true gain is found in faithful giving both in our homes and in our calling. As Christian women, many of us give daily to nurture and support our families, serve in ministry and still find ways to pour into the lives of others. None of this is unseen by God. Scripture assures us in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over…” As we give love, discipline, prayer and display Godly example to everyone with whom we come into contact, we are sowing seeds of righteousness that will yield a lasting harvest. When we give patience and strength to our families, we are building homes anchored in Christ.

“Give to Gain” is not simply about material return it is about spiritual increase. Every sacrifice made in faith, every quiet prayer whispered over a child, on behalf of our spouse, family and friends, every act of service in the church and every moment of encouragement to a member of the body in Christ is an investment in eternity. In giving ourselves to God’s purposes in our families and our communities, we gain deeper faith, stronger character and the joy that comes from obedience. This year, may we embrace the truth that as we give in love and faithfulness at home, at church and in every sphere God multiplies grace, strength and blessing back into our lives.

Continue to be blessed and a blessing as you “Give to Gain”

Today, with heavy hearts but deep gratitude, we honor the extraordinary life of Pastor Herman Raymond, a man whose unwavering faith and love for God transformed lives for nearly half a century.

At just 16, he surrendered his heart to Christ, and from that moment, his life became a testament to the power of God’s grace. Through every challenge and triumph, Pastor Raymond stood firm on God’s promises, living by the words: “Others May, But I Cannot.” His journey from a young boy answering the call of ministry to a shepherd leading countless souls is nothing short of remarkable.

Pastor Raymond’s love for his family, his congregation, and his community was boundless. Under his leadership, churches were built—not just with walls, but with the hearts of those he touched. He gave selflessly, pouring his life into his vision of a church that stood as a beacon of hope, love, and truth.

To those who knew him, he was more than a pastor. He was a father, a mentor, and a friend. His voice of encouragement, his steadfast faith, and his tireless dedication have left a legacy that will never fade. He taught us how to serve selflessly and live with purpose.

Though our hearts ache at his passing, we rejoice in knowing he has entered his eternal reward, hearing the words he longed for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Pastor Raymond, you have run the race, and your legacy will continue to inspire us. Thank you for teaching us to live lives of faith, love, and unwavering trust in God. You will forever be missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, faithful servant of God.

~Love, the bestest church ✝️
