In the same way the lungs expand with each breath, our spirit expands with each moment of prayer. We grow in intimacy with God, in wisdom, in strength to overcome temptation, and in grace to walk uprightly.

A prayerless life is a suffocated spirit — one gasping for the breath of Heaven.

So, make prayer your atmosphere. Let it be as natural and necessary as breathing. Pray in the morning and at night, in joy and in pain, in public and in private — for prayer is not just what we do; it is who we are.

A praying believer is a living believer.
Indeed, prayer is the oxygen of the Spirit.
