What can we learn from the 40-year journey to the Promised Land?

Pastor Lee's message reminded us that the journey from Egypt to the Promised Land should have taken 11 days — but because of fear, complaining, and disbelief, it took 40 years.

The wilderness wasn’t about distance. It was about the process.

We were challenged to:
• Drop the “shackles mentality” — choose faith over fear.
• Walk through the process — every season is a training ground.
• Stop looking backwards — you can’t move forward with your heart in the past.
• Practice gratitude — complaining delays blessings, but gratitude accelerates them.

“It took one day to get Israel out of Egypt, but 40 years to get Egypt out of Israel.”

A powerful reminder that how we handle waiting seasons matters. With faith, trust, and gratitude, God will bring us into His promises.

Let’s not wander longer than we need to. 🙏🏽
