What you consume spiritually matters just as much as what you consume physically. The conversations you entertain. The voices you constantly listen to. The content you fill your mind with. The people you stay connected to. All of it shapes your heart little by little. If we continually feed ourselves anxiety, comparison, negativity, and noise, it becomes difficult to experience peace. But when we slow down and intentionally fill our hearts with truth, prayer, worship, gratitude, and God’s presence, something within us begins to change. 🙌

Protect your peace. Guard your heart. Be mindful of what your soul is absorbing every day. If this encouraged you, explore our worship playlists, devotionals, and peaceful resources created to help you quiet the noise and reconnect with God’s presence daily. Find Peace With God — link in bio. 💜

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23

WHEN GOD SENDS A STORM TO CHANGE YOUR DIRECTION

“And they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.” — Jonah 1:15

Jonah thought he could run from the presence of God, but no distance is far enough to escape the voice of Heaven. God had given Jonah an assignment, but instead of obeying, he chose another direction. Many people today are doing the same thing — running from purpose, ignoring conviction, and resisting the call of God upon their lives.

The storm that struck the sea was not ordinary. It was a divine interruption. Sometimes the storms in our lives are not meant to destroy us, but to wake us up. God will allow discomfort when destiny is being ignored. The storm was proof that God still cared about Jonah enough to pursue him.

While the sailors panicked, Jonah slept. That is what spiritual disobedience can do — it can make a person numb while everything around them is falling apart. Some people are sleeping spiritually while their families, purpose, and calling are under attack. But God knows how to awaken what has become silent.

The sailors threw cargo overboard trying to save the ship, but nothing worked. Human solutions cannot calm a storm that requires spiritual surrender. There are battles that money cannot fix, connections cannot solve, and strength cannot overcome. Only obedience to God can bring peace.

Jonah finally admitted the truth. He stopped blaming others and acknowledged his disobedience before the men on the ship. Real transformation begins when people stop hiding and start confessing. Freedom enters the moment honesty enters.

The moment Jonah was thrown into the sea, the storm stopped raging. One act of surrender changed everything. Sometimes peace does not come when God changes the storm — peace comes when we finally obey Him. Delayed obedience creates unnecessary battles.

What looked like judgment was actually mercy. God could have allowed Jonah to drown, but instead He prepared a great fish to preserve his life. Even in correction, God’s mercy still speaks. God does not discipline His children to destroy them; He disciplines them to restore them.

Some storms are not sent to kill you. They are sent to redirect you. God saw destiny inside Jonah that Jonah himself was trying to escape. Heaven will fight for the purpose attached to your life. God refuses to let His calling die inside of you.

Inside the belly of the fish, Jonah prayed again. Pain has a way of bringing people back to prayer. Sometimes God allows isolation so that distractions can be removed and hearts can return to Him. The place of surrender often becomes the birthplace of revival.

Jonah discovered that you can run from assignment, but you cannot outrun God’s purpose. God’s voice is stronger than rebellion, stronger than fear, and stronger than human weakness. When God calls someone, Heaven continues pursuing them until they respond.

There are people today carrying gifts, ministries, dreams, and assignments from God, yet fear has caused them to run. But your destiny is too important to abandon. The same God who called Jonah is still calling people to rise, obey, and walk boldly in purpose.

The storm on the sea became a testimony to the sailors watching everything happen. Your obedience does not only affect you — it affects everyone connected to your life. When one person surrenders to God, entire environments can change.

God is still interrupting ships today. He is still shaking hearts, calling prodigals back home, and awakening sleeping destinies. The storm may feel painful now, but it could be the very thing leading you back into alignment with Heaven’s plan.

Do not ignore the voice of God. Do not keep running from the assignment Heaven placed upon your life. The storm may be loud, but God’s mercy is louder. The same God who pursued Jonah is pursuing you with grace, purpose, and restoration today.

The same seed is sown to everyone… but not every heart produces fruit.

Some hear and forget. Some receive with joy but fall away when it gets hard. Some grow, but get choked by distractions, worries, and the pursuit of more.

But then there are those who truly receive it—who let the Word go deep, take root, and transform their lives.

This isn’t about information, it’s about transformation.
Not just hearing, but surrendering.
Not just starting, but enduring.

Lord, break the hard ground in me, remove every distraction, and make my heart good soil that bears fruit for Your glory. 🙏🏻🤍

Faithfulness includes trust, honor, and patience. Trust that God loves and knows what is best for you. Trust that He will work things out in His way and in His own time. It's not enough to say we trust God. Fully trusting in God correlates to honoring Him, doing what He has called us to do, and not doing what He has warned us not to do.

An integral part of faithfulness is patience and understanding that God is in ultimate control and His ways are far better than ours. Sometimes, what we believe is a delay isn't one at all. Sometimes, it's God saving us from something harmful. Sometimes, it's God giving us the time we need to learn, grow, and receive His blessings in His own time and in His way. Trust God. Honor Him. Be patient.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, always. God bless. ❤ -L

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 ESV

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV

"But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." 2 Peter 3:8 ESV

Happy Palm Sunday! Friend, let me show you something that many people miss about Palm Sunday.

This was not just a moment of celebration. It was a moment loaded with prophecy, expectation, and misunderstanding all happening at the same time.

The Bible tells us in Matthew 21:8-9 that a great multitude spread their clothes on the road, others cut down branches from the trees, and the crowds cried out, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

This looked like honor. It looked like recognition. It looked like arrival.

But it was not what it seemed.

Because Jesus was not entering Jerusalem to take a throne. He was entering Jerusalem to take a cross.

And Scripture already told us this would happen. In Zechariah 9:9, it was written, “Behold, your King is coming to you… lowly and riding on a donkey.”

Even His entrance was prophetic. Not on a war horse. Not in political power. But in humility.

That alone should tell you something. God’s ways do not always look like human expectations.

The people saw a king. But they did not understand the mission of the King. They expected deliverance from Rome. But Jesus came to deliver them from sin.

And this is where the tension begins.

Because when expectation is wrong, interpretation will also be wrong.

Let me say that again. When expectation is wrong, interpretation will also be wrong.

The same people who shouted “Hosanna” on Palm Sunday… would later shout “Crucify Him!” (Matthew 27:22–23).

What changed? Not Jesus. Their expectation.

And this is a serious lesson.

Not every celebration understands your assignment. There are people who will celebrate you… not because they understand what God is doing in your life… but because you temporarily fit what they want.

And the moment your process does not align with their expectation… their support begins to fade.

Palm Sunday is not just about praise. It is about misunderstood purpose.

The Bible says in John 12:16 that even His disciples did not understand these things at first.

So imagine that. The crowd misunderstood Him. Even those close to Him did not fully grasp what was happening.

Yet Jesus remained focused.

Why? Because He was not led by applause. He was led by assignment.

The Bible says in Luke 9:51 that He “steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem.” That means He was intentional. He was resolved. He was not confused about His direction.

Even though He knew what was ahead. And what was ahead was not comfort. It was the cross.

As Philippians reminds us in Philippians 2:8, “He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

So while people were celebrating… He was preparing.

And this is where many people fail.

You want to be understood by everyone. You want your journey to be validated. You want your process to be celebrated.

But if Jesus depended on public understanding… He would never have fulfilled divine purpose.

So hear this carefully.

Not every praise is alignment. Not every celebration is understanding. And not every open door is arrival. Sometimes it is the beginning of a deeper process.

Palm Sunday teaches us to remain grounded… even when people are clapping.

Because applause can be loud… and still be empty of understanding.

And here is the deeper truth.

Jesus did not slow down because He was misunderstood. He did not adjust His mission to please the crowd. He stayed on course.

Because He understood something they did not. There was a greater outcome.

Hebrews tells us in Hebrews 12:2 that “for the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross.” That means He could see beyond the pain. He could see beyond the rejection. He could see beyond the misunderstanding.

So let me bring this to you.

There are seasons in your life where everything looks like celebration on the outside… but deep inside, you know you are entering a process.

Things may look good. People may be clapping. Doors may be opening. But God is taking you somewhere deeper.

Do not be deceived by applause. Stay committed to assignment.

Because what looks like celebration… may just be the entrance into your next level.

The Scripture says in Micah 7:8: "Rejoice not over me, my enemies. When I fall, I will rise again. When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."

Friend, I declare over your life: you will rise again.

I don’t know what has held you back, the chains, the delays, the obstacles, but the Scripture says in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Every generational yoke of bo***ge is broken today in the name of Jesus.

You will rise again. Your business will rise again. Your career will rise again. Your family will rise again. Those who mocked you will watch and see what God will do in this season.

Just as the Scripture says in Genesis 50:20, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." He will change your story. This is not how your story ends.

In the name of Jesus, you will rise again!

Seed of Encouragement
When we are praying and believing God for something, we have to be mindful of what we let come out of our mouths. Do not fall into the trap of speaking words filled with fear, doubt and unbelief. The enemy is always coming at us with thoughts to deceive us… to get us to come into agreement with his lies. But, we have to be vigilant and determined to stand in faith on God's promises. Continue to BELIEVE no matter what it looks like. Keep asking, because God says the one who asks will receive. Keep seeking, because God says the one who seeks will find. Keep knocking, because God says knock and the door will be opened for you. Refuse to doubt. Trust that when the time is right, God will make it happen.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it WILL BE yours. Mark 11:24

It's one thing to quote God's word and another to choose to live it. Your life is a ministry. Your words and deeds are a "sermon". Whether you realize it or not, people are watching and listening. When you live the life God has called you to, you speak and behave differently, and people notice. Don't just talk about love, kindness, forgiveness, and generosity. Be loving and kind. Forgive others, even when it's difficult. Be cheerfully generous with what God has given you. Your deeds communicate far better than your words. "Preach" well, my brothers and sisters. God bless. ❤ -L

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." 1 John 4:7 ESV

"Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." 1 John 3:18 ESV

"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:4 ESV

"Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38 ESV

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3:12-14 ESV

The miracle did not begin with abundance.
It began with surrender.

Five loaves. Two fish.
A small offering that seemed insignificant in the face of a hungry crowd.

But once it was placed in Jesus’ hands, everything changed.

Jesus blessed it.
Jesus broke it.
And somehow, what was once not enough became more than enough.

Sometimes we are waiting for God to multiply what we have, while still holding it tightly in our own hands.

But the miracle often begins at the moment of surrender.

What you place in His hands—your fears, your plans, your resources, your future—God is able to bless, break, and multiply for His purposes.

Don’t underestimate what God can do with what you’re willing to give Him. 🤍🙏🏻
