Greetings all! Brothers and sisters of our OLF Curepe/Holy Family Caroni parish communities and other 'adorers' of the Blessed Sacrament!✨ On Thursday 4 June, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi.

Here's an invitation to commit to sitting in company with Our Lord, basking in the Light of his Presence and the Grace of His merciful, loving regard!

Our parish is hosting all-day Eucharistic Adoration. You're invited to join fervent adorers in the Pastoral Centre, from *after the Corpus Christi Mass and Procession, on June 4, up to 12 midnight.

Please use the contact info at the end of this message to indicate your commitment to watch and pray, at least for one (1) hour on Thursday.. Our parish priest, Fr. Brent Alexis O.Carm., Asst. P. Priest, Fr. Gregg Durham O.Carm. and Rev'd. Dea. Hilary Bengochea all encourage your ardent, prayerful participation, as we 'storm heaven', offering minds and hearts following our Eucharistic liturgy and witness during the community procession. On Thursday, we'll continue to demonstrate our love for Jesus and submission to his loving care for all our needs and deepest desires. Let's offer up our Church in T&T, our parish Ministries and leaders, all parishioners, our families and wider community.

Adoration Schedule contact co-ordinators:
* Chislon Dubar: 759-6410
* Natasha Jacob: 778-7117
We look forward to your awesome shared and loving sacrifice of time, in grateful submission to our Sublime Lord who's ever present to and for each and all of us!πŸ’“

Corpus Christi Mass: 8.00a.m.
incl. First Communion for the 23 children - 12 boys, 11 girls, ages 6 - 12, who have prepared over the past months.
* Procession to follow; bring petals and small flowers for laying along Jesus' path and for Our Blessed Mother.

One peculiar tradition to note is that many gardeners in Trinidad and Tobago will plant on Corpus Christi Day, believing it will ensure a thriving crop. Traditionally, some even bring their seeds to Mass to be blessed by a priest so they’ll be sure to thrive. πŸ˜ŠπŸŒ±πŸƒπŸŒΎπŸŒ½πŸ«›πŸ†πŸ₯‘πŸ«’πŸŒΆοΈ

Selected temporary profile logo: The Church is observing the Franciscan Jubilee Year - commemorating the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, Jan. 10, 2026 to January 2027.
This Year of St. Francis invites believers and communities to rediscover the way of life that is simple, essential, open to peace, fraternity and respect for Creation.

Let's commit to this spiritual journey with a sincere spirit and a willingness to undergo inner conversion, expressing our faith through responsible choices in the world we inhabit.

A plenary indulgence is granted under the usual conditions.
