IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA is a Government Recognized Religious Organization, which was legally incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago as a Non Profit Organization Religious body, with all rights, Privileges and exempt Status. reg # T5679 (95) 28th august 2007
Q. Why is it necessary to have such an organization in the Ifa/Orisa Tradition? The Ifa/Orisa Tradition is one of the fastest growing Religion with membership scattered throughout in independently operated Temples/Shrines. Like all other Religion their membership needs are the same, but their voices are seldom heard in the corridors of power, corporation board rooms, state agencies, or other organizations, because of their fragmented state of being. So all Ifa/Orisa Temples/Shrines have to become a member of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA? Membership in this Organization is purely a voluntary decision to be made by one's Ifa/Orisa Temple/Shrine council and its general membership. Should we be interested, what benefits can my Ifa/Orisa Temple/Shrine expect to gain in becoming a member of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA? Being an Organization with the power of a collective action.

*Government Agencies can better be able to respond quickly to a community of Ifa/Orisa Temples/Shrine's needs because:
(a) It's system of accountability. (b) Ownership of property will be much easier to acquire through a collective effort. (c) As a membership owned Organization, the acquisition of group insurance, legal and administrative assistance, Day Care and Adult Care Centres, Scholarship Fund, Catering Centres, Government Sponsored Food Programmes to generate employment within your Ifa/Orisa Temple's / Shrine's community, while serving the broader needs of neighbourhood communities and much more can be secured and actualized. Will the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA interfere with the present doctrines and ritualistic practices in your Ifa/Orisa Temple/Shrine? No, your membership in the Organization is primarily to provide a collective community voice, and not interfere with the internal business of your Ifa/Orisa Temple/Shrine. However, as an umbrella organization of Ifa/Orisa Religious Tradition, Ifa provides the basis of its doctrines, to which it adheres and as outlined in its statement which will be shared with all its members as additional information to the authentic practices of the Yoruba traditional religion. Who will be responsible for the assets accumulated by the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA? The assets of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA of Trinidad and Tobago will be the sole property of the member Temples/Shrines and will be controlled by the Elected Trustees of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA who are members of various Ifa/Orisa Temples/Shrines.
* IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA account will reflect all Financial activities, with proper administrative control and a Transparency Policy in place for periodical review.
*There will be elected internal auditors to present a yearly auditor's Report for internal checks and balances, to avoid suspicions of impropriety. There will also be an External Auditors Report from a Certified Accountant to be presented at Conventions of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA.
*The daily administrative operation of the organization will be administered by an Elected Administrative Board. What must my Ifa/Orisa Temple/Shrine do to become a member of the IJO IFA IMOLE OSETURA? Fill out the necessary membership forms and submit it to the Secretariat with a registration fee of One hundred Trinidad and Tobago currency ($100TTD)
