The Anjuman Sunnatul Jamaat Association is pleased to report that the Festival of Eids commenced on a highly successful note, attracting a large and enthusiastic gathering. The programme proceeded smoothly, and participants enjoyed the various activities and presentations that had been carefully planned for the occasion.
Unfortunately, approximately two and a quarter hour into the programme, and just prior to the scheduled launch of the commemorative book marking the 90th Anniversary of ASJA, an unexpected electrical outage occurred. At the same time, heavy rainfall intensified, creating challenging conditions for the continuation of the event.
After careful consideration of the prevailing circumstances and in the interest of the safety and comfort of all attendees, a decision was taken to bring the programme to an early conclusion.
Notwithstanding these unforeseen challenges, the launch of the commemorative book was successfully conducted. This significant milestone was therefore achieved, ensuring that this important contribution to ASJA's rich history and legacy was formally presented.
The premature conclusion of the programme also meant that several scheduled presentations could not take place. Several schools, organizations, and individual presenters were unfortunately unable to showcase the items they had prepared for the occasion. The National Executive acknowledges the considerable effort, dedication, and preparation that went into these presentations and expresses its sincere regret that circumstances beyond our control prevented them from being featured.
Among those who were unable to deliver their scheduled remarks was the General Secretary of ASJA, who was slated to move the Vote of Appreciation. In view of this, his appreciation is hereby presented in written form.

I STAND ON THE PROTOCOL THAT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED
All praise and thanks are due to Almighty Allah (SWT), whose boundless mercy, guidance, and blessings enabled the successful hosting of our Eid Festivals Programme. We are grateful for His countless favours and for granting us the opportunity to come together in faith, unity, and celebration.
The Anjuman Sunnatul Jamaat association extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this memorable event.
To the dedicated members of the Festival of Eid Committee, we offer our sincere gratitude for your commitment, hard work, planning, and countless hours of service. Your collective efforts transformed a vision into a successful reality.
We are deeply thankful to all participants on the programme—our speakers, reciters, performers, presenters, feature Speaker M***i Zaidur Raza, and volunteers—whose contributions enriched the event and reflected the beauty and values of Islam.
Special appreciation is extended to our distinguished Government Representatives, The Mayor of Chaguanas and Embassy Representatives for their presence and support.
We are also honoured by the attendance of the Leader of the Opposition, whose participation added significance to the occasion and demonstrated a spirit of national unity and mutual respect.
We warmly acknowledge the Principals, staff, and students who participated in and those in attendance for the programme. Your enthusiasm, discipline, and engagement contributed greatly to the vibrant and uplifting atmosphere that characterized the event.
A special note of thanks is extended to the ASJA Ladies Association for the preparation and serving of refreshments. Your generosity, hospitality, and dedication exemplified the spirit of service and community that Eid represents.
To our outstanding Chairperson, we offer sincere thanks for your professionalism, leadership, poise, and skillful coordination of the programme. Your ability to guide the proceedings seamlessly played a vital role in the success of the event.
Finally, to all attendees, supporters, sponsors, vendors, well-wishers, and members of the wider community, thank you for your presence and encouragement.
The Festival of Eid Programme was truly a collective achievement, demonstrating what can be accomplished when we work together with sincerity, unity, and a shared purpose.
Special appreciation is also extended to our Administrative Officer, Sr. Amanda, for her unwavering commitment, diligence, and exceptional organizational skills in ensuring that all logistical arrangements were efficiently put in place. From coordinating tents, booths, seating, and other essential facilities to overseeing numerous behind-the-scenes details, her dedication and attention to detail contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on and overall success of the Festival of Eid Programme. Her willingness to go above and beyond in service to ASJA is deeply appreciated and worthy of commendation.
May Almighty Allah (SWT) reward Sr. Amanda abundantly for her efforts. Ameen.
A Special Commendation is extended to Haji Inshan Mohammed for his tireless dedication, perseverance, and commitment in researching, compiling, and documenting the commemorative book in recognition of the 90th Anniversary of ASJA. This publication A LEGACY OF FAITH, EDUCATION AND NATION BUILDING stands as a fitting tribute to this historic milestone, preserving the rich legacy, achievements, and contributions of the organization for present and future generations.
What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that this project has been in development for the past 12 years. Through patience, determination, and an unwavering sense of purpose, Haji Inshan remained steadfast in bringing this important work to completion.
We thank Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting the guidance, strength, and opportunity for this long-awaited project to come to fruition. The completion of this book is not only a significant achievement for ASJA but also a valuable gift to the wider community, ensuring that our history and heritage are preserved and celebrated.
May Allah (SWT) abundantly reward Haji Inshan Mohammed for his outstanding efforts, accept his work as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), grant him good health, happiness, and barakah in all his endeavors, and allow generations to benefit from this important contribution. Ameen.
In conclusion, May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our efforts, reward everyone abundantly for their contributions, and continue to bless our community and nation with peace, prosperity, and harmony.
