This past Good Friday, we gathered in solemn reverence to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Led by Reverend Ramkission, the service reminded us of the importance of the cross—its power, its meaning, and the depth of Christ’s love for us. As we meditated on the words of “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”, we were made to remember that the cross is not just a symbol, but the very foundation of our faith and the pathway to redemption.

Though marked by sorrow, Good Friday also stirred hearts with gratitude and hope, as we reflected on the sacrifice that brings eternal life.

This past Monday, we gathered as a church family to begin our Holy Week journey—a sacred time set apart to reflect on the depth of Christ’s love and sacrifice.

We were especially blessed to be joined by members of our sister churches for this regional service, a beautiful expression of unity and fellowship in Christ. Our hearts were further lifted as choir members from our sister churches joined voices with our own, creating a powerful and harmonious sound of praise that truly enriched the worship experience.

Through worship, prayer, and the Word, we were reminded that Holy Week is not just a story we remember, but a path we walk together. As we continue through this holy season, may each step bring us nearer to the cross, and ultimately, to the hope and victory of the resurrection.

Palm Youth Sunday was a powerful and uplifting experience, led with grace and confidence by our future elder Seline, alongside Sabita and the members of the Local Board.

Through their heartfelt reflection, the Palms came alive—echoing themes of praise, trust, and unwavering faith in God. It was a beautiful reminder that the voices of our young people are not just for the future, but are already shaping and strengthening the Church today.

Their leadership inspired us all, as they boldly proclaimed God’s Word and led us into deeper reflection and joyful praise. Truly, we witnessed a glimpse of the Church’s bright and faithful future.

✨ “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!” ✨

Last Thursday, our Lenten Service was anything but quiet—our sanctuary was alive with a joyful noise unto the Lord!

As we continued our journey to the cross, the atmosphere was filled with vibrant songs of praise, heartfelt worship, and a spirit of celebration. Under the inspiring leadership of Reverend Cynara, and beautifully accompanied by Kris on the keyboards, we were further blessed by the beautiful anthems performed by Anali, which lifted hearts and stirred souls.

Voices were lifted, hearts were full, and the presence of God moved powerfully among us. Truly, we did not sit in silence—we stood united in praise, declaring His faithfulness every step of the way to the cross.

✨ “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth!” ✨

✨ Waterloo Presbyterian Church PCW – A Sweet Celebration of Faith & Talent ✨

Our hearts are full as we reflect on the beautiful moments shared at our recent PCW baking event 💕🍰

The ladies of Waterloo Presbyterian Church came together in fellowship, bringing not just ingredients—but love, creativity, and God-given talent. Each creation was more than a treat; it was a masterpiece, lovingly prepared and inspired by scripture, reminding us that we are all wonderfully made and gifted 🙏✨

From delightful pastries to stunning baked designs, every piece told a story of faith, unity, and joy. It was truly a blessing to witness such artistry and sisterhood in action 💐

“She works with eager hands…” – Proverbs 31:13

We give thanks for the laughter shared, the bonds strengthened, and the sweet memories created. Until our next gathering, may we continue to serve with grace and love ❤️

What a joyful and Spirit-filled time we experienced at last Wednesday’s Lenten service! 🙌🏽

As we journeyed together toward the cross in this sacred season, our hearts were lifted in a special and powerful way through the celebration of youth baptism. In the midst of reflection, we rejoiced as young individuals boldly stepped forward, declaring their faith and embracing new life in Christ!

There is something incredibly uplifting about witnessing the next generation say “yes” to God. Their courage, joy, and commitment reminded us all that Lent is not only a time of solemn reflection—but also a season of hope, renewal, and victorious transformation! ✝️✨

We celebrate with these young believers and give thanks for what God is doing in their lives. May their journey inspire us all to keep pressing forward in faith!

This morning, we were deeply blessed by a powerful message from the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church The Right Reverend Daniel Chance.

He spoke honestly about what it means to live in a broken world — a world filled with uncertainty, pain, and challenges. Yet, in the midst of all this brokenness, he reminded us of one unshakable truth: we can only navigate this world with God in our hearts.

When we anchor ourselves in faith, we find strength for today and hope for tomorrow. His words were both comforting and convicting — a call to live courageously, faithfully, and with Christ at the center of our lives.

Grateful for a message that speaks to the times we are living in. 🙏✨
