Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Mark 11:23 "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

This is one of Jesus’ strongest statements about faith and prayer. In Jewish teaching, moving mountains was a common expression for overcoming something humanly impossible, like trusting God in situations that seem immovable.

God is able to do what seems impossible when we pray with boldness and trust. May we be encouraged to exercise our faith and see God work on our behalf for His good.

Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Numbers 13:30 (NKJV) Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

The instructions were clear, concise and decisive from the leaders, Joshua and Caleb. They were going by God’s promise and not their own hopes and dreams. They inspired faith in the hearts of the people and dispelled fear and doubt.

The Biblical Message: “We Are Well Able,” was not based on Israel's military strength. Caleb spoke from a position of faith in God's promise. While the other spies focused on the giants, fortified cities, and obstacles, Caleb focused on God's ability.

We are well able to pursue our purpose with faith in God's promise.

Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali.

2 Kings 5:3 Then she said to her mistress, "If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy."

Naaman was a commander of the Syrian army who suffered from leprosy. A young Israelite girl taken captive during a Syrian raid who served Naaman's wife, remembered the prophet Elisha, and believed that God could heal Naaman through His prophet.

Though she was young as a foreign captive, and a servant, God used her testimony to direct Naaman toward his miracle. God often uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.

Like this girl, we are vessels of God to lead others to their divine encounter. May we embrace the opportunities presented to us in our daily lives to connect with others to be a blessing.

Friday 5/6/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

Under the new covenant, worship is personal and spiritual rather than centered on a specific place or building or religious rituals.

True worship comes from the inner being, in sincere love for God, the work of the Holy Spirit within us, and a genuine relationship with Him.

May our worship be grounded in the truth about who God is and the truth revealed through Jesus Christ, and align with His divine revelation.

Thursday 4/6/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Jesus had been teaching His disciples about His departure, the coming of the Holy Spirit, prayer, and God's care for them. His purpose was that they would find peace in Him. This peace is not the absence of problems; it is an inner assurance that comes from trusting Christ and knowing that God is in control.

Tribulation refers to trouble, pressure, suffering, persecution, and trials. We as believers live in a fallen world and will face difficulties just as the disciples did. However, we are admonished to be grounded in His Peace by trusting His Word and leading always.

Wednesday 3/6/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Just as a child begins with milk and later progresses to solid food, we as believers are expected to grow beyond the basics of the faith and develop spiritual maturity through obedience, experience, and consistent study of God’s Word.

Let us discipline ourselves and put into practice the study and practical application of biblical truth in our daily lives for mature growth and spiritual understanding.

Tuesday 2/6/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it...

The verse teaches that no matter how much effort, skill, or planning people invest, their work is ultimately futile if God is not directing and blessing it. Human effort alone cannot produce lasting success.

When we seek God's guidance and oversight in guiding us through our journey of life, He will fulfill His purpose in and through us to bring order, healing, restoration and success!

Monday 1/6/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Ephesians 4:29 says:
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” (NKJV)

The word “corrupt” means dishonest, rotten, immoral or harmful. Paul is instructing Christians to avoid speech that tears others down, such as gossip, slander, insults, obscene language, harsh and abusive words, lies and deceit. Just as rotten fruit is unfit for use, corrupt speech damages relationships and dishonors God.

Before speaking, it is wise to ask: Will my words build this person up or tear them down? We are to speak words that edify others, by encouraging, teaching and instructing in truth, comforting the hurting, correcting in love, and building faith and godly character.

Lord, help us to guard our words!

Sunday 31/5/26
Thought by Bishop Hasratt Ali:

Galatians 3:28 (NKJV)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Indian Arrival Day May 30th, commemorates the arrival of the first Indian indentured laborers in 1845, 181 years ago, on the ship SS Fatel Razack. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Trinidad and Tobago which significantly impacted the country's culture, economy, and demographics.

Indian immigrants brought with them their traditions, religions, food, and music.Their indentured labor system, brought a new wave of immigrants to Trinidad and Tobago.

May we cherish the richness of our heritage and be a beacon of light to the world as we spread the salvation message of Jesus who unified us through His shed blood.
