🔔 PARL stands for Public Affairs and Religious Liberty. It is a global department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that acts as the church's diplomatic liaison.
✅ Protecting Religious Freedom:
Defending the fundamental human right to freedom of conscience and worship for all people.
✅ Advocating for Members: Supporting Adventists and other individuals who face persecution, discrimination, or workplace conflicts regarding their faith (e.g., Sabbath observance)
✅ Public Relations:
Shaping public perception, dispelling prejudice, and building credibility with civic leaders.
✅ Promoting Social Good: Collaborating with other departments to advocate for policies related to human rights, health, education, and environmental stewardship.
