Real stories from real Christian Iranian refugees 👇🇮🇷

Roya and her husband Parsa fled Iran after years of intense persecution for following Jesus. Her brother was arrested for boldly evangelizing everywhere and carrying Bibles in his trunk — even unknowingly sharing the Gospel with IRGC officers. Police repeatedly stormed their home with threats. The judge warned her brother to leave Iran or be killed, so he fled to Turkey. When Roya visited him there, the IRGC was waiting for her upon her return and threatened her and the children. That’s when the family decided to escape. They left behind Parsa’s thriving business in southern Iran and arrived in Turkey 12 years ago as refugees. Just days after arriving, Parsa prayed to receive Christ. This courageous couple continues standing strong in faith despite ongoing hardship.

Families like Roya and Parsa urgently need support as they rebuild their lives in exile. Will you join us in praying for them and other Iranian believers risking everything for Jesus?

She went from a shattered kneecap in a hospital bed…to standing in church, fully recovered and full of gratitude.
But most Iranian refugees in Turkey are still fighting just to survive—treated as less then human, with no stability and constant uncertainty.

Today was our last Sunday service with .church.elam before our team heads back home in a couple of days. Today we visited several families and heard powerful testimonies of faith, persecution, and God’s provision. One family shared how they fled Iran after threats, imprisonment, and loss, yet saw God’s faithfulness even in miracles and financial need. Another couple came to Turkey under difficult circumstances but encountered Jesus here, with the wife’s journey from deep searching to bold faith despite rejection from her family.

We also met a mother and her children who have a miraculous story of leaving a refugee camp, but now face the reality of having to return to Iran in the next 5–6 months unless the Lord makes a way—believing for a miracle. We were able to pray, encourage, and sow into what God is doing in their lives. Thank you for standing with them, and continue to pray for strength, provision, healing, and open doors for these precious people. 🙏

As soon as we landed in Denizli last year, we got a call asking us to go to the hospital to visit a woman who had just shattered her knee cap. She desperately needed surgery, but they wouldn’t even give her pain medicine until she got the money for it. We visited her there in the hospital, prayed for her, and were able to sponsor a large portion of her surgery, in addition to what the church had already been fundraising.

Now, we get to visit her and see how she’s doing a year post-recovery. Friends, let us introduce you to our Iranian sister, Fataneh. ❤️🇮🇷
