Dr. Gary Miller’s Journey to Islam
Dr. Gary Miller, a Canadian mathematician, theologian, and former Christian missionary, began studying the Qur’an to examine it for possible scientific, historical, and logical inconsistencies. His research eventually led him to embrace Islam in 1978, after which he became known as Abdul-Ahad Omar.

Key Turning Points
1. Surah An-Nisa (4:82)
Miller was particularly impressed by the Qur’an’s challenge to examine it for contradictions, especially given his analytical background.

2. Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30)
The Qur’anic statement that “We made every living thing from water” caught his attention, which he connected with the essential role of water in living organisms.

3. The Story of Abu Lahab
He reflected on Surah Al-Masad (111) and the fact that Abu Lahab remained an opponent of Islam until his death, despite the Qur’an’s condemnation of him.

4. Mary and Jesus PBUH
Miller was also surprised by the Qur’an’s detailed discussion of Maryam and Isa (Jesus) PBUH, which differed from what he had initially expected from the Qur’an.

His study of these and other subjects ultimately changed his understanding of the Qur’an and contributed to his decision to embrace Islam.

Sister Sinéad O'Conner who Converted to Islam in 2018, has sadly passed.

Announcing her conversion, she said, "This is to announce that I am proud to have become a Muslim. This is the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian's journey. All scripture study leads to Islam. Which makes all other scriptures redundant."
