This Sunday, Pastor Peter DeWit shared a powerful word.Taking Off the mask

God's love is not just something we talk about, it is something we are called to live.

“Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:8

When life gets heavy, love remains.
When we are disappointed, love forgives.
When people are hurting, love reaches out.
When someone needs help, love acts.

The challenge for us as Christians is not simply to know about love, but to be people who love sincerely.

✨ No pretending.
✨ No masks.
✨ No empty words.
✨ Just genuine love expressed through action.

Sometimes love is something small—a kind word, a helping hand, a meal, forgiveness, encouragement, or simply taking the time to notice someone.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

This week, walk with your eyes wide open and ask:

Where is God inviting me to love someone?

Let love lead. ❤️

Pastor William preached on Duty to the Government. Romans 13:1-7
Sunday we were reminded from Romans 13 that God is a God of order, not chaos. Every authority ultimately exists under His sovereign rule, and as followers of Christ, we are called to honour Him in the way we respond to those He has placed in authority.

Three key truths from the message:
🔹 Respect God's Established Authority – Submission begins with trusting God's sovereignty, not placing our faith in people.
🔹 Respond with Responsible Conduct – Our obedience should flow from a heart transformed by Christ, living with integrity in every area of life.
🔹 Represent Christ Through Honour – We are ambassadors for Christ. Our actions, attitudes, and character are a testimony of the gospel to the world.

"Earthly systems may change, but Christ remains sovereign forever."

May we be people who honour God by respecting authority, living responsibly, and reflecting the love and character of Jesus wherever He has placed us.

📖 "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." — Romans 13:1 (ESV)

Sunday's Message was brought by Pastor Aldrin Poblete:

How do you respond when someone hurts you, criticizes you, or treats you unfairly?

Our natural instinct is often to defend ourselves, retaliate, or seek revenge. Yet the Apostle Paul presents a radically different response in Romans 12:17–21. Instead of repaying evil with evil, believers are called to pursue what is honorable, seek peace whenever possible, and ultimately overcome evil with good.

This message reminds us that following Christ isn't simply about managing our behavior,it's about allowing God to transform our hearts. When criticism comes, we have a choice: respond according to the world's standards or reflect the grace, peace, and love of Jesus Christ.

As we go into this week, may we choose to respond with grace instead of retaliation, forgiveness instead of bitterness, and love instead of anger. Every criticism is an opportunity to reflect the Gospel and point others to Christ.

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." — Romans 12:21

Sometimes, God changes our plans—but His purposes never change.

This Sunday, we were blessed to welcome Pastor Kevin Barner, who graciously stepped in to share God's Word after his wife, Sandy, was unable to preach due to ongoing back pain and a medical condition.

Please continue to keep Sandy in your prayers, asking God to strengthen her, ease her pain, and bring complete healing.
The Prayer of Jabez 🙏

What if one simple prayer could transform the way you live each day?

This Sunday, we explored the powerful prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9–10) and discovered four life-changing requests we can boldly bring before God:

✨ Lord, bless me.
✨ Enlarge my territory.
✨ Let Your hand be with me.
✨ Keep me from harm.

God's blessings are never meant to stop with us—they are meant to flow through us. As we seek His presence, trust His protection, and allow Him to expand our influence, He equips us to impact the lives of others for His glory.

Let's be people who pray boldly, live faithfully, and trust God to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.

"Oh, that You would bless me indeed..." – 1 Chronicles 4:10
