ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Stanislaus Thanuzraj Lazar, SVD completed his doctorate in Missiology at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. He was the Director of Ishvani Kendra―Institute of Missiology and Communications, Pune, India. He served one term as the President of the International Association of Catholic Missiologists (IACM). He was the Provincial Superior of India Mumbai province. In addition to contributing many articles to different journals and editing books, he offers, in theological institutes, courses and seminars in Missiology and Interculturality and related subjects. He served as the Generalate Mission Secretary of the Society of the Divine Word, Rome from 2012 to January 2025.

ABOUT THE RESPONDENT

Albano Da Costa, SVD holds academic credentials from the Pontifical Gregorian University and the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, specializing in European Society and Comparative Studies in Culture. He currently lectures at the Yarra Theological Union, a member college of the University of Divinity in Melbourne, and serves as the Vice Provincial of the SVD Australia Province. Recently, he was elected President of the Australian Association for Mission Studies (AAMS) and appointeD to the editorial committee of the Australian Journal of Mission Studies (AJMS). Additionally, he is a member of the International Association for Mission Studies (IAMS) and the Australian Mission Network (AMN) of Catholic Religious Australia (CRA)
