พระเดชพระคุณ พระธรรมวชิรสุธี ประธานกรรมการบริหารคณะสงฆ์ธรรมยุตในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เมตตาแสดงพระธรรมเทศนา ในพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลอุทิศถวายแด่ พระครูมงคลญาณ (คำพอง ปัญญาวุโธ) เนื่องในวาระครบรอบ ๙ ปีแห่งมรณกาล ณ วัดป่านานาชาติ รัฐเวอร์จิเนีย ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา
พระธรรมเทศนาครั้งนี้มุ่งน้อมรำลึกถึงคุณูปการ ปฏิปทา ตลอดจนคุณความดีของพระครูมงคลญาณ ผู้เป็นปฐมบุรพาจารย์และผู้ก่อตั้งวัดป่านานาชาติ ซึ่งได้อุทิศตนเพื่อพระพุทธศาสนา วางรากฐานการปฏิบัติธรรม สร้างศรัทธาแก่พุทธศาสนิกชนในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา
นอกจากนี้ พระธรรมเทศนายังเป็นเครื่องเตือนใจให้พุทธศาสนิกชนตระหนักถึงความไม่เที่ยงของชีวิต คุณค่าของการสร้างความดี การดำรงตนด้วยสติ ตลอดจนการสืบสานพระธรรมคำสอนให้เกิดประโยชน์ทั้งแก่ตนเอง ครอบครัว ชุมชน
พิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลในครั้งนี้จึงมิใช่เพียงการน้อมอุทิศบุญกุศลถวายแด่พระเถระผู้ล่วงลับเท่านั้น หากยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการแสดงความกตัญญูกตเวที ร่วมรักษามรดกทางพระพุทธศาสนา สืบทอดเจตนารมณ์ของครูบาอาจารย์ให้ดำรงมั่นคงสืบไปในต่างแดน
ขออนุโมทนาสาธุการแก่คณะสงฆ์ เจ้าภาพ อุบาสก อุบาสิกา ตลอดจนพุทธศาสนิกชนทุกท่านที่ได้ร่วมบำเพ็ญกุศล สดับพระธรรมเทศนา พร้อมน้อมรำลึกถึงพระคุณของพระครูมงคลญาณในวาระสำคัญครั้งนี้

Most Venerable Phra Dhamma Vajirasudhi, President of the Executive Board of the Dhammayut Sangha in the United States, graciously delivered a Dhamma sermon during the memorial merit making ceremony dedicated to the late Phra Khru Mongkhon Yan (Khamphong Paññāvudho) on the 9th anniversary of his passing, held at Wat Pa Nanachat in Virginia, United States.
The sermon paid tribute to the life, monastic practice, and lasting contributions of Phra Khru Mongkhon Yan, the founding teacher and founder of Wat Pa Nanachat. His dedication helped establish a strong foundation for Buddhist practice, spiritual development, and the growth of the Buddhist community in the United States.
The teaching also offered a meaningful reflection on the impermanence of life, the importance of cultivating wholesome deeds, mindfulness in daily living, and the responsibility of each generation to preserve and transmit the Buddha’s teachings.
This memorial observance served not only as an occasion to dedicate merit to a respected late monastic teacher, but also as an expression of gratitude, remembrance, and commitment to preserving his spiritual legacy for future generations.
May the merit arising from listening to the Dhamma and participating in this memorial ceremony bring wisdom, mindfulness, peace, happiness, and lasting well-being to all.
