结夏安居在10月21日结束，比丘们也完成今年安居的密集禅修期。在佛教的传统里，比丘以守持227条戒律的生活方式度过了一年，戒腊也长了一岁。跟世俗的生活相比，这种持戒的生活本身就是修行，以这种趋向解脱的方式生活，终有一天，能到达解脱的彼岸。

疫情之下，长期无法到寺院顶礼供养三宝，难免有一点遗憾，但这些障碍本身就是佛陀教法，就是种无常的示现。最重要的是，所*有*这些障碍，都无阻我们对比丘和修行人精进修行的随喜赞叹。

宏颂僧伽林将在07/11//2021举办今年的线上卡提那功德衣庆典，欢庆世上还有真正走在佛陀道路上的修行人，随喜僧团又一年的精进修行，欢迎大家一同来参与。

我们将在宏颂僧伽林卡提那庆典当天安排袈裟供养，每套袈裟SGD130 或MY400，欢迎想要供袈裟的朋友一同来供养，汇款后请在google form填写您的资料。

The rains retreat ends at 21st October 2021 and the Sangha have concluded their intensive meditation period this year. In the Buddhist tradition, the monk spent their year observing the 227 precepts, and added one Vassa to their monastic life. Compared with the worldly life, this kind of preceptive life is itself a self-cultivation. The goal of living in this way is to path towards final liberation.

Under the pandemic, it is inevitable that we are unable to go to the monastery to make offerings to the Triple Gem for quite some time. It is a pity but these obstacles themselves are exactly the Buddha's teachings - a manifestation of impermanence. The most important thing is that all these obstacles do not impede us in rejoicing in the Sangha and their diligence in their practice.

Wat Hongson Wanaram will hold this year's Kathina , Robe Offering Ceremony online on 7 November 2021, celebrating that there are still practitioners walking the Buddha's path sincerely. Let us rejoice in the Sangha for having completed another year of diligent practice, and we welcome everyone to join us in this celebration.

You are invited to offer the robes on the day of the Wat Hongson Wanaram’s Kathina , Robe Offering Ceremony. Each robe is SGD130 or MY400. Please fill out the following google forms after the remittance of funds.
