𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑫, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕.— Psalm 37:4

​This Sunday Worship, Ptr. Vicky Maturan shared a powerful message on what it truly means to "delight" in God. It’s far more than a passing feeling or a checklist of religious duties. We dove deep into this beautiful promise and uncovered three life-changing truths:

✅️ ​1. The Priority: A Heart Fully Devoted
📝​Delight isn't just something we say; it’s how we live. It is a choice, a relationship, and a sharp focus:
​It’s a Choice, Not a Feeling: Choosing God as your joy, treasure, and portion—even when everything else fails.
​It’s a Relationship, Not a Transaction: Treating our connection with God not as a demanding duty, but as our greatest treasure.
​It’s a Focus, Not a Distraction: Intentionally turning our eyes off our problems and fixing them onto our Heavenly Father.

✅ ️​2. The Transformation: Aligning with His Will
📝​The beauty of this promise is that the person who truly delights in the Lord will find their own heart steadily transformed. When we find our ultimate joy, satisfaction, and purpose in God rather than the world, He shifts our desires so they perfectly match His perfect will.

✅ ️​3. The Prerequisite: Rooted in His WORD even in dark times
📝​Dark times will always test where our delight truly lies. If we only delight in God's blessings, difficult seasons will break us. But if we learn to delight in God Himself, dark times cannot destroy us—because He walks through them right alongside us. When your heart is fixed on Him, you can trust that what He wants for you is exactly what is best for you.
