THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS — OUR SALVATION, OUR HOPE, OUR LIFE
“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:17
Everything we believe stands on this truth: Jesus is risen.
✨ It Provides Salvation
The resurrection declares that the death of Jesus was not in vain—it was sufficient. The penalty of sin has been paid in full. Because He rose, we are no longer bound by sin, but are given forgiveness and eternal life.
✨ It Gives Us Hope for the Future
“If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied… But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:19–20
His resurrection is our guarantee. We will rise with Him.
Life does not end in the grave—this life is only a preparation for the life that will never end.
Without the resurrection:
• Our sins remain unforgiven
• Eternal life does not exist
• Our faith becomes empty and our efforts are futile
But because He lives, everything changes.
Jesus said,
“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
John 11:25
🔥 Our Response to His Death and Resurrection:
• Gratitude and Worship – for the price He paid
• Repentance and Faith – turning fully to Him
• Obedience and Surrender – giving Him our lives
• Service and Love – reflecting His heart to others
• Sharing the Gospel – declaring that He is alive
We don’t just remember the resurrection we live in its power.
Our faith is not empty. Our hope is not temporary. Our Savior is alive.
