THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS — OUR SALVATION, OUR HOPE, OUR LIFE

“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:17

Everything we believe stands on this truth: Jesus is risen.

✨ It Provides Salvation
The resurrection declares that the death of Jesus was not in vain—it was sufficient. The penalty of sin has been paid in full. Because He rose, we are no longer bound by sin, but are given forgiveness and eternal life.

✨ It Gives Us Hope for the Future
“If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied… But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:19–20

His resurrection is our guarantee. We will rise with Him.
Life does not end in the grave—this life is only a preparation for the life that will never end.

Without the resurrection:
• Our sins remain unforgiven
• Eternal life does not exist
• Our faith becomes empty and our efforts are futile

But because He lives, everything changes.

Jesus said,
“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
John 11:25

🔥 Our Response to His Death and Resurrection:

• Gratitude and Worship – for the price He paid
• Repentance and Faith – turning fully to Him
• Obedience and Surrender – giving Him our lives
• Service and Love – reflecting His heart to others
• Sharing the Gospel – declaring that He is alive

We don’t just remember the resurrection we live in its power.
Our faith is not empty. Our hope is not temporary. Our Savior is alive.

💧 CFFCC HUA HIN BAPTISM SUNDAY 💧

CFFCC Hua Hin celebrates a powerful move of God as we held our Baptism Sunday at Susan and Larry Poolside Resto.

Today, our brothers and sisters in Christ boldly stepped forward, declaring their faith and full surrender to Jesus. As they entered the water, the old life was left behind—and as they rose, they walked in the newness of life in Christ.

This is more than a ceremony.
This is transformation.
This is obedience.
This is a new beginning.

We rejoice in every life changed and every heart renewed. Truly, heaven is celebrating! 🙌

📅 March 29, 2026

Today, we are reminded of the beauty and power of baptism—a declaration of faith and a symbol of a transformed life in Christ.

In Matthew 28,

Jesus calls us to go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is not just a command, but an invitation to step into a new life with Him.

In Acts 8:5–13,

We see how people believed, received the Word of God, and were baptized choosing to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

And in Romans 6:4,

We are reminded that through baptism, we are buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life. We are no longer who we used to be. We are a new creation, made alive in Him.

Today’s message is clear:
💧 Baptism is not just a ritual—it is a testimony.
💧 It is the old life laid down and a new life begun.
💧 It is a public declaration that we belong to Christ.

Let us continue to walk in faith, renewed, restored, and transformed by His grace.

📖 Joshua 7:1–12

“Obeying God matters.”

In Joshua 7, Israel faced defeat not because God failed them, but because of hidden disobedience. Sin in the camp broke their victory.

Our Pastor reminded us that obedience brings blessing and opens doors of opportunity. Disobedience, even in secret, leads to loss.

The enemy cannot defeat us when we walk in God’s will but when we are not fully surrendered, we step out of His covering.

God is calling us to remove anything that hinders our obedience and return to Him wholeheartedly.

Trust God, obey fully, and walk in His victory. 🙏

📖 A Heart of True Worship: A Heart That Pleases God
Isaiah 66:1–2

“Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool… but on this one will I look: on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.” — Isaiah 66:1–2

Today’s message reminds us that God is not looking for impressive structures, religious activities, or outward expressions of worship. Instead, God looks at the heart.

1. Recognizing God’s Transcendence

Isaiah 66:1 declares that heaven is God’s throne and the earth is His footstool, reminding us that God is far above all creation. He is not limited by space or time, and His greatness surpasses human understanding.

📖 Isaiah 55:8–9 reminds us that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.
In true worship, we acknowledge that God is sovereign and the owner of our lives.

2. The Heart God Values

📖 Isaiah 66:2 reveals the kind of heart that God looks upon.

1️⃣ A Humble Heart
A heart that recognizes its dependence on God.
📖 James 4:6 — “God gives grace to the humble.”
📖 1 Peter 5:6 — “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God.”

2️⃣ A Contrite Heart
A heart that is repentant and broken before the Lord.
📖 Psalm 51:17 — “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.”

3️⃣ A Heart that Trembles at God’s Word
A heart that takes God’s Word seriously with:
• Reverential fear
• Responsive obedience
• Awe and submission

Application

✔️ Check your heart before God
✔️ Worship authentically, not just outwardly
✔️ Cultivate reverence for God and His Word

God sees everything we do, and He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Even the challenges we face may be allowed by God so that we may learn to depend on Him more fully.

🙏 May we continue to develop a heart of true worship that pleases the Lord.

CFFCC Hua Hin | Sunday Service | March 8, 2026

“Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.” — Joshua 6:1

What wall are you facing today?

Walls are real.
Problems that seem impossible.
Situations we cannot solve alone.

Just like the Walls of Jericho.

There are physical walls
and spiritual walls.

But remember this truth:

God always has a provision.

Sometimes His instructions don’t make sense.
Sometimes His ways are different from ours.

Yet Joshua did not argue with God.
He simply believed and obeyed.

And when the people obeyed,
the walls fell.

Today the call is simple:

Believe God.
Obey God.

Even when it seems unreasonable.
Even when you don’t understand.

Because when faith meets obedience,
victory is assured.

God has a provision for every wall you face.

ANCHORED IN FAITH

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”

Hebrews 6:19

What storms are you facing today?
Is your faith deep enough to hold?
Are you drifting… or are you anchored?

An anchor may not be seen, but it is vital.
It keeps the ship from drifting, holds it steady during storms, and connects it to something solid beneath the surface.

📖 James 1:6 reminds us that doubt makes us like waves, blown and tossed by the wind.
📖 Hebrews 2:1 warns us to pay careful attention so we do not drift away.

Just like an anchor:
-Faith keeps us from drifting with fear, doubt, and worldly influence.
-Faith holds us steady when storms test our strength.
-Faith must be connected—dropped deep and firmly attached.
-Faith may be hidden, but its effects are clear: peace, confidence, and endurance.

A ship is safest not when the sea is calm, but when its anchor is secure.
In the same way, our faith is proven not in comfort, but in crisis.
Today, choose to drop your anchor deep in Christ. ⚓✨

Joshua 3:1-4 | Crossing the Jordan river following the ark of the covenant

1 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Sh*ttim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. 2 After three days the officers went throughout the camp, 3 giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits between you and the ark; do not go near it.”

Ark of the Covenant
- symbolizes the presence of God
- it is the representation of Christ
- it serves as a blueprint of how to live a Christian life

Guidelines for walking victoriously even in unknown territories

1) Don’t lose sight of the ark.
People were advised to keep their distance from the Ark so that everyone could see it and wouldn’t lose sight of it as they cross the Jordan river.
(The ark represents Jesus. We must keep our focus on him and let him guide us as we go through our personal battles)

2) Sanctify yourselves.
Joshua 3:5
Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
We must prepare ourselves spiritually in order for us to receive blessings and amazing things along our journey.

3) Get your feet wet
In Joshua 3, the priests are instructed to step into the Jordan River first, even though the waters are still at flood stage.
This act of faith comes before the miracle of the river parting, which allows the people to cross on dry ground.
We must soak in God’s presence and obey his commandment, and good things will follow.

Faith first before blessings!

We all have our own Jordan river to cross—rivers of difficulties in life, but God is always there to guide us.

Jeremiah 37–38 |
Persevering in Obedience

Jeremiah carried a message of judgment, yet instead of honor, he faced imprisonment, mistreatment, and rejection. Still, he did not turn back.

Why?

Because Jeremiah chose obedience.

Despite beatings and suffering, he persevered in obeying the Lord. His strength came from conviction a deep, unshakable belief in what God had called him to do.

To persevere in obedience means:
-Standing firm in your conviction
-Knowing what you believe and why you believe it
-Holding on to convictions that are not altered by time, people, opinions, or circumstances

No one forces us to obey God.
Obedience is always a choice.
We choose whether to be faithful or not, loving or not, available or not or to do nothing at all.

Jeremiah chose rightly.
He chose to obey God no matter the cost.
He refused to compromise and that choice gave him the strength to persevere.

🙏 May we learn to stand firm, obey boldly, and remain faithful even when it is difficult.

📖 John 3:16–17

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

Today, December 21, 2025, reminds us of a powerful truth:in giving, there is always a sender and a receiver.God is the Sender, moved by His great love for the world.

We are the receivers, invited to believe, accept, and live in His promise.

The recipients of this gift are those who believe and accept it. They will not perish but are given the promise of eternal life. This gift was not sent to condemn the world, but to bring salvation through Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate this Christmas season, let us remember the most precious and costly gift ever given
God giving His only begotten Son for us. 🎄✨

May our hearts remain grateful, faithful, and ready to receive His love. 💝

Sunday Service Reflection
Matthew 5:13–16 – “Salt & Light”

Today’s message reminds us of who we are called to be in this world.

We are the salt of the earth—bringing flavor, preserving what is good, and making a difference.
We are the light of the world—shining hope, revealing truth, and pointing others to God.

Just as light reveals what’s hidden in the dark, and a lighthouse warns ships of danger, our lives are meant to guide, protect, and inspire others toward Christ.

We are not only called to be like salt and light—we are commanded to BE salt and light.
Salt is different from pepper.
Light is different from darkness.
Our distinctiveness is what makes the difference.

When we truly live as salt and light, our good deeds point people not to us, but to our Father in heaven.

Let us continue to shine and stand out for His glory.
