THE PRINCE
This is a story of a prince who was on his way home after a long trip. He was riding his horse on the way back to his castle and when he was almost there some of his servants approached him and they stopped him. They had bad news for him and told him that his little daughter had died. In shock he asked what happened and they told him that a dog had killed her. The prince now spurred his horse and went as fast as he could to the castle. But when he was nearly there he saw a dog covered in blood and without hesitation he drew his sword and killed it. When he arrived he saw a group of people and when he approached he saw his little dead daughter and a dead dog laying next to her. Crying he took the little girl in his arms and asked why the dog was there. The crowd answered that this was the dog who killed her but that one of his own dogs had killed it and and out of sorrow he left the city!
Can you see the comparison with Jesus here? He came to rescue us, but He got killed for it. He came to sacrifice His life for us. He left heaven for us. He was innocent and got crucified! How sad isn’t it? But we all know that He’s alive!
He rose from the dead and is still alive. He gave His life so we can be saved from eternal suffering to gain eternal life.

And what do we have to do for it? Nothing! Just believe that!
Embrace Him with both arms, the Savior of mankind. For whoever believes in Him will have eternal life

THE HIGH PRIEST PRAYER
John 17 the High Priest Prayer. I was blown away by the
prayer and commented what I thought about it with these lines
(-as my reaction-)
The High Priestly Prayer
“When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes
to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your
Son that the Son may glorify you (-He speaks as if He speaks
about another person then Him here, here you can see that
He was both human and God, two in one, man and God-)
since you have given him authority over all flesh, (-here you
see that He has the power to do as He pleases- ) to give eternal
life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life,
that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ (-
He talks about Himself like this!- ) whom you have sent. I
glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that
you gave me to do.
( - here you can see that He knew from the beginning, from
His birth, what His task, duty and purpose was-)

And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that
I had with you before the world existed. (- here you can see
that He was there at the creation of earth, He is and was in eternity with God!-) “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. (- here He talks about us, the believers, His followers-) Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. (that’s us, His church, His people-). All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. (- do you see and feel that? He tells us that we are HIS!-)

And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to
you. (- here Jesus declares He is literally on earth and not in heaven, but that He’s coming home soon-), Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. (- here He tells us to be one, to be united, we are one family, one with each other united in God!-)

While I was with them, I kept them in your name,which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, (- Jude-) that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. (- here He wants us to be joyful, because we are HIS!-) I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.(- here you see that
we should not be worldly but doing all things heavenly-).

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. (- here He’s asking for our protection against the devil and his deceiving-) They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world,
so I have sent them into the world. (- that’s our task that He gave us, to spread the Word, evangelize -).

And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in
truth. “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, (- here you see how we as a church must be, all in one, no gossiping and no disagreements, but politely correcting and teaching one another-) so that the world may know that you sent me
and loved them even as you loved me.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me (- He wants us to be with Him and God our Father) because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them
your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”” (-how beautiful He ends with Love, which was the biggest command, to love our neighbors, friends, enemies as ourselves.-)

I can keep on talking and comparing about this, wow! Such
a beautiful passage!

You may be thinking why all those religious posts so suddenly on my Facebook and Instagram? But I think I told you a year ago that my life had changed. Not because I wanted to, but because God called me. He showed me that without Him there would be eternal death and that I was going to perish in hell for eternity and then He showed me Jesus. He showed me how Jesus came from heaven to earth to die for us sinners on the cross and thus wash away all our sins through His blood.. He showed me that through His resurrection there is also eternal life for us, just by repenting and accepting it.
That is what I did and that touched me so much that I am still full of it and so I want nothing more than to magnify His name and want to do nothing more than to tell each and every one of you that there is hope for EVERYONE, no matter what you are or what you have done. Have faith, forgiveness and eternal life in heaven and on the new earth that is soon to come.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 6:40 For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

God saves

Do you know this? You can have hope for this life and for eternal life! We human beings are made by God our Creator. We are meant to live for the glory of God, in relationship with Him. That is our first and real destination. This is why He created us. We used to have a personal relationship with Him in the garden of Eden, where He always visited us at the end of the day. The problem is that we all have sinned and fall short for the glory of God. God is Holy and we, His creatures, cannot stand before Him anymore because of our sin. God will judge us all at the end of time. We all experience in some way that the connection between us and our Creator is broken in all the difficulties in life we face.
And deep inside we know we have sinned against God. I am happy I can tell you today that Jesus Christ came to the earth.
His name Jesus means: God saves and the title Christ means:
anointed by God. So, Jesus was anointed by God to save the world. Jesus gave His live in heaven for you on the cross, to set you free from sin and bo***ge. Faith in Jesus restores the relationship between us and God. You can live in peace with God and start a new life by believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior. You will receive grace and your sins will be forgiven when you repent and believe that Jesus Christ was the One, sent by God, to save you. Isn’t that the best thing you could ever hear?

ASCENSION DAY
Ascension Day. Yesterday was Ascension Day and its almost
as if no one really noticed this awesome day anymore, at least,
not the way we celebrate Christmas or Easter. Not many
churches mentioned it during this day let alone had a sermon
about it! But what a powerful, beautiful moment it truly is.
Jesus returned to where He came from, to where He belongs—
His heavenly home. What a welcome would that have been,
can you imagine all the saint, angels and God welcoming
Him back! There must have been an enormous party when He
arrived! Respectfully speaking. How often did Jesus compare
us coming to a banquet at His home? Us being invited to a
wedding? And even more wondrous: He went ahead of us
to prepare a place for us. He didn’t just leave… He left to
make room. A home for many. A table set for eternity. For
those who love Him.
And He didn’t leave us alone. Just as He promised, He sent
the Holy Spirit—so that every heart, in every part of the
world, could still know Him closely.
He ascended… and He sent.
He departed… and came again, in another way.

Jesus, we love you and we miss you and we only want to be
near you. You are wonderful. You are more than words can
express. You are living in us. We love You—and we long for
the day when we’ll be reunited.

You’re all invited

WHY WE PROCLAIM JESUS
People often ask me why do you Christian people always
have to let everyone know that you believe. And I’m like you
know you cannot stop it when you’re filled with the Holy
Spirit. It’s like a tire that’s been pumped up and when it’s
full it explodes, letting the wind out everywhere. We can’t
stop talking about the Goodness that God has given us. We
want to share that. We didn’t deserve it but still He loved us
and forgave us our trespasses through Jesus Christ! We need
everyone to know that there’s salvation for all of us. We are
His church, walking testimonies. So, sorry, but no we can’t
stop talking about it.
I just heard a pastor say that Jesus is now invisible. Yes, He is
now in heaven, but because He poured out the Holy Spirit,
He has become visible—because He came to live in the hearts
of His followers. When you encounter children of God, when
you see or hear His followers, His people, it’s as if you see
Jesus in them. You see the beautiful works He does through
them. And when two or more are gathered in His name, He
is there among them! What a transformation He can bring,
right? The Spirit is still so powerful, isn’t He? Life without
Him is no life at all. Life with Him is beautiful.
