Saen Peace & Joy - แสนสุขสันต์ Through the studying of God’s Word, we bring them to know Jesus Christ, to embrace His teachings, and to live according to biblical principles.

Following is a brief overview of the three main areas of Saen Peace & Joy's ministry, here in Doi Saket Chiang Mai, Thailand.

🌟 Children's Boarding Facility 🌟
We provide food, accommodation, and education to underprivileged children from the Karen community, typically aged 13 to 19. Besides meeting their daily needs, our facility aims to nurture the children in the ways of the Lord; to raise them

as disciples and servants of God, equipping them to serve Him and His people in future ministries. (Psalm 127:3-5)

🌟 Outreach, Evangelism and Discipleship 🌟
We share the Gospel in some of the most remote areas of Northern Thailand, reaching out mainly to the Karen community. (Matthew 28:19-20)

🌟 Relief and Aids Response 🌟
The ministry responds to the call of our Lord to serve places and people in need of aid and assistance due to adverse conditions caused by natural disasters, conflicts, and more. We aim to demonstrate God's love through our small acts of kindness, drawing others to know the compassionate and merciful God we believe in. (Galatians 6:9-10)

Objectives of the Saen Peace & Joy Foundation

1 Provide social work assistance to the underprivileged, the poor, patients, relatives of patients admitted to various hospitals concerning the residential, foods and utilities including certifying projects for social services;

2 Promote and support health, nutrition, medical, and public health as well as providing assistance and relief to those affected by natural disasters and social disasters;

3 Promote and support educational work both academically and professionally for developing children and youth as well as the general public according to morality, ethics and to uphold the quality of life;

4 Promote and support wisdom and reserving good practices of ethnic cultures;

5 To operate or cooperate with other charitable organizations for public benefit;

and

6 Do not engage in any political activities.

Praise the Lord for a fruitful and encouraging discussion with our co-labourers regarding the new Mission School. We are thankful that several foundational administrative matters have now been settled, providing greater clarity, unity, and direction as we move forward in this ministry.

We also thank God that the first batch of school supplies—including whiteboards, notebooks, writing materials, uniforms, PE attire, crockery, utensils, and other essential items—is now on its way to serve the 33 students who will be attending the school. These provisions are tangible reminders of God’s faithfulness and of the partnership of His people in advancing His work among the next generation.

Please continue to pray for the safe delivery of these materials, for wisdom and grace to be granted to the teachers and leadership team, and for the Lord to prepare the hearts of the students and their families. May this school be more than a place of education; may it become a place where young lives are built up, strengthened, nurtured, and grounded in the truth of God’s Word.

In the spirit of Mator Mator—“to strengthen and build up”—may each student grow in knowledge, character, and faith, and be continually pointed to Christ, who alone is the source of true wisdom and life. May the Lord use this school to raise up a generation that knows Him, loves Him, and walks faithfully in His ways.
