Hi everyone,
Apologies for the delay on this post, after the fullness of camp, our team has just taken the time to rest and continuing with the pack down of camp but we just wanted to take the time to really say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who played a vital role in making Fire Camp a resounding success this year.
The theme, "The Overflow," brought about an incredible experience with the kids, and the presence of God was so thick.
Witnessing the transformation of non-Christian kids with 9 baptisms, and it was just a really sweet time and a really powerful time in the presence of God.
A special shout-out to those who generously contributed to funding camp this year, making it possible to provide the kids with a truly amazing experience.
We want to thank Paul and Timothy Richards for coming along and being part of camp with us this year. To Paul for sharing with the leaders during the workshops and taking on the preaching sessions and to Timothy for being such a diligent help from restringing guitars, stage decorations, to sealing up windows and taking part in the games.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to the YWAM team from Canada, we were not expecting what a powerhouse team you all were.
You were incredible and we are so grateful. Your servant hearts made such a significant impact to our team and the kids this year.
A big thank you to Kate Green for stepping in last minute, sharing a powerful message, and allowing the Spirit of God to lead. Also just for your heart to serve in any way that you could and for helping to provide the Bibles to hand out to the kids. We were so beyond blessed to have you.
To Asaphs Journal, we want to thank you for coming along and being a part of the worship team this year, we were so grateful to see you really give your all in the worship side of things, to Tim and Misty for sharing so incredibly in the workshops, and to Akom (Asaph’s Journal graduate) for leading so powerfully and for serving wholeheartedly on the team and Timmy for giving it your absolute all, we were so grateful for everything your brought to the team.
A special thank you to Bella and Kenny for coming alongside us after coming straight out of the big COC Conference to the full-on-ness that was Fire Camp. Kenny you were an irreplaceable member of the team and brought a lightness and joy with you and we're so grateful. To Bella for basically helping from the setting-up to running the camp with us and for lending your beautiful gift in singing to the worship team this year. You have such a strong work ethic, presence and servant heart.
We also want to thank Atom and his team for partnering with us for the sound each year, your diligence and excellence in what you do is something we are so grateful we can rely on each year.
Our immense gratitude also extends to the interns from Sozolife for their heartfelt help with setup and cleanup. Your team's dedication was a blessing, and we appreciated so much your delightful spirit in helping in whatever way you could.
To the leaders from various regions, Mae Khong Sai, Mae La Noi, Wieng Pao Pao, Mae Sot, Thaton, Chiang Rai, Doi Saket, and other areas of Chiangmai—your diverse contributions in everything from technical setup to cooking, translating and cleaning were such a vital part of making camp run this year. You truly were the backbone of this camp, and we are immensely grateful for your partnership.
Once again, thank you to everyone who played a part in this camp.
Stay tuned for exciting media updates in the coming weeks, including photos and videos.
We can't wait to share the highlights with all of you.
