Sirimangalo International is a non profit organization (registered charity) located in Ontario, Canada, dedicated to supporting the practice, study and teaching of Buddhist Insight (Vipassana) Meditation, in the tradition of Ajaan Tong Sirimangalo.

We would like to remind everyone about the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) that is taking place this weekend. The details for it are below—

Date: Sunday, 23rd of March, 2025
Time: 6:30PM Sri Lanka Time / 9AM Eastern Standard Time (you can check to confirm the meeting time for your local time zone)

During this meeting, we will discuss about matters related to the organization. It is open and welcome to anyone who would like to participate. To attend, you must join our Discord server if you haven't already. At the specified meeting date and time, you will join in the "annual-general-meeting" voice channel that is under the "COMMUNITY" category within our Discord server.

Additionally, since November of 2024, we have transitioned our Meditation+ website to a new website instance. We encourage those who wish to retain their profile and statistics, must log into the new website at least once before the old instance is shut off and the old data gets removed.

Today we had the ceremony honoring the dhamma school children, and Sirimangalo sponsored gifts for the children, teachers, and school, including backpacks, cloth for making uniforms, pencil cases, and a desktop computer.

Sotthi Everyone,

Sharing some wholesome news - One of Venerable Yuttadhammos students - Lawrence has decided to go forth and ordain this month.

The ceremony is expected around the 19th of May, at Wat Ram Poeng where Venerable Yuttadhammo is teaching and also where Venerable Siricando recently ordained.
