Today Luang puu go to the forest again with devotee that offer the wooden log for the construction of a wooden hut that will be constructed near the reservoir. It will another rest and meditation spot for devotee to practice.Rejoice!

“The Buddha was born in the forest, attained Enlightenment in the forest, and entered Parinibbāna in the forest. Therefore, the forest carries profound meaning.

If time permits and the body is still capable, we should strive to enter the forest for meditation practice, following the example established by the Blessed One. Leave comfort behind and head toward the Dhamma in the forest.

As the Buddha Himself realized and demonstrated, Dhamma is not found in the city nor in worldly prosperity.

Dhamma is found in hardship. The greater the hardship, the greater the opportunity to realize Dhamma...”

因此,森林具有极其深远的意义。 如果时间允许、身体尚可,我们应当尽量进入森林修行禅定,效法佛陀曾走过的道路。放下世间一切安逸,迈向森林中的佛法。

正如佛陀亲自证实的那样,真正的佛法并不在城市里,也不在世间繁华之中。

佛法存在于艰苦之中;越是艰苦,越容易获得佛法……”

“Some people are born only to care for and feed the body for free, without gaining any true benefit from it.
Throughout their whole lives, they cannot even recite ‘Buddho’ a single time.
They cannot even bow to the Buddha once. Such a life brings little benefit.

They merely nourish the body for nothing, while failing to make use of this human birth for any higher purpose.

Why is this so?

First, because they lack the opportunity to hear and learn the Dhamma.
They lack faith, confidence, and devotion.

Much depends on the company one keeps — this is taught in the Mangala Sutta:

‘Asevanā ca bālānaṃ, paṇḍitānañca sevanā…’
‘Not associating with fools, and associating with the wise…’

If one associates with foolish people, one gradually becomes foolish.
If one associates with the wise, one becomes knowledgeable and discerning.

Association and companionship shape a person:
associate with thieves, and one becomes like a thief;
associate with the wise, and one becomes wise.”

“有些人生来,只是白白地供养和照顾这个身体而已,却没有从这副人身中获得真正的利益。

活了一辈子,连一句‘佛陀(Buddho)’都不曾念过,连一次礼佛都没有做过,这样的人生实在没有什么意义。

只是白白养着这个身体,却不肯利用这难得的人身去创造真正的功德与价值。

为什么会这样呢?

第一,因为缺少闻法的机会,
缺少信心、信仰与恭敬心。

这一切都与一个人所结交的人有关。《吉祥经》中说:

“阿舍瓦那,恰巴拉囊;
班迪达南,恰舍瓦那……”
“不亲近愚人,亲近智者。”

亲近愚人,久而久之也会变得愚痴;
亲近智者,则会增长智慧与学识。

人与什么样的人来往,就会渐渐成为什么样的人:
亲近盗贼,也会变成盗贼;
亲近贤者,也会成为有智慧的人。”

Luang Pu taught that merit (puñña) is a matter for the wise. It is like a person who knows how to prepare provisions before embarking on a long journey—such a traveller will never go hungry along the way because they always have supplies to sustain themselves throughout the trip.

Wat Pa Khlong Kung, Mueang District, Chanthaburi Province

Luang Pu Sanan, a direct disciple of Than Phor Lee peacefully passed away due to old age on March 7, 2026 at the age of 102, having been a monk for 81 years. May 23, was cremated at Wat Asokaram.

在漫长的旅途中,便不会忍饥挨饿,
因为一路上都有储备好的资粮,可以不断滋养自己。”

隆普萨南(Luang Pu Sanan),为探婆李(Than Phor Lee)的亲传弟子。
老人家于2026年3月7日,安详示寂,世寿102岁,僧腊81年。其荼毗(火化)仪式于2026年5月23日在阿育王寺庙举行。

“Those who live by reason — not by emotion, and not driven by defilements — are able to conduct their lives wisely.
Whenever something happens, they use reason as their guide for reflection, careful consideration, and discernment, distinguishing what is right from what is wrong.

They do not allow defilements, anger, or emotions to become the means of solving problems. Instead, they apply the teachings of the Buddha as the solution. In this way, they are able to protect themselves, remain safe, and progress toward happiness and prosperity.”

Luang puu Boonsong and devotee offered fruits such as durian, Rambutan etc to the senior sangha on Luang puu Som, 92th birthday in Bangkok. Rejoice!

“以理智而非情绪、非烦恼欲望来生活的人,
才能真正善巧地过日子。

当任何事情发生时,应当以理性作为思考与观察的依据,
仔细分析、分辨什么是对,什么是错。

不要用烦恼、愤怒或情绪去解决问题,
而应当以佛陀的教法来作为解决之道。

如此,才能保护自己,获得安稳,
并走向幸福与兴盛之路。”

“In the past we used to say about Luang Pu Kamphong:
‘He just sits down and before his butt even gets warm, he’s already gone again—always rushing off somewhere. We don’t even know what work he’s so busy with. We feel tired just watching him…’

If we were made to live like him, we wouldn’t accept it at all.

But now that we are older, everything we once criticized him for has come back to us in full.”

“This is a reminder: we should never speak ill of anyone—whether intentionally or unintentionally. Luang Pu Kamphong had a very quick and subtle mind; he could sense what people were thinking and often used it to test their state of mind.”

但现在年纪大了之后,当年我们曾经批评过他的那些话,如今全部都回到自己身上了。”

“这就是一个提醒:无论有意还是无意,我们都不应该批评任何人。

隆普坎蓬心性敏锐,别人心里在想什么,他都能察觉,而且他常常用这种方式来考验人的心念。”

“This mind has never died”

“This mind, which is something that does not die—no matter in what realm or birth it goes, even if it falls into the deepest Avīci hell for countless kalpas and aeons, no matter how great the suffering may be—the mind acknowledges that it is suffering. But this mind does not consent to annihilation.

There is no concept of complete destruction within this mind. There is no true loss within it. The mind does not become nothing.

As for suffering and happiness—more or less—it is accepted as experiences of pleasure and pain that arise within all minds in the same way.

When going through hell for countless kalpas, hell itself still exists under the law of impermanence. It changes—if not quickly, then slowly. It transforms, rises, and continues to rise until it becomes human existence again.

Then, by creating goodness and virtue, one becomes a deva, a celestial being.

By increasing goodness and merit more and more, when merit is perfected and fully complete, one becomes pure Buddha-nature—Buddho, such as the Buddha or the Arahants. They have reached the end, the cessation of all things related to the heap of suffering across all realms of existence. There is no more piling up of death and rebirth as before.

In such a one who is purified in mind, all of that has ended.

That is why it is said: ‘This mind has never died.’ It has never been destroyed. When it becomes fully purified, it transforms into a pure element of Dhamma within the heart. The mind and all merit and goodness become completely in harmony.

Therefore, I ask all brothers and sisters to cultivate goodness and virtue…”

“这个心从未死亡”

“这个心,是不会死的法性之心。无论它流转到任何界、任何生处,即使堕入无间地狱,经历无量劫、无量时,承受再大的痛苦,这个心承认痛苦的存在——但它从不接受‘彻底毁灭’。

在这个心中,没有真正的灭亡,也没有真正的消失。心不会归于无有。

至于苦与乐、多少与强弱,不过都是同样在每一个心中所显现的感受而已——是可被觉知的经验。

即使在地狱中经历无量劫,地狱仍然处于无常法则之下。它会变化——不论快慢,总会转变、上升,最终再转生为人。

然后,通过不断累积善业与功德,又再升为天人。

当善法与功德不断增长,直到圆满具足时,便证得清净的“佛性”,成为纯净之“佛陀觉性”(Buddho),如佛与阿罗汉。他们已彻底终止一切生死轮回的苦聚,不再有过去那样生生死死的堆积。

对于已清净者,一切苦集已止息。

因此说:‘这个心从未死亡。’它从未真正毁灭。当它完全清净时,便成为内在的法性之体。心与功德善法完全契合无碍。

因此,希望诸位善知识多多修善积德……”

These few days, Luang puu been going to forest to oversee the cutting of trees which is used for construction in the temple. Days and nights like Luang puu travel from 7am in the morning today. Gratitude to the temple and Luang puu being informed on everyone goodness in the offering of pillars for the Sala Construction even in the forest.

Luang pu also put on the boots to move around the forest supervising the work. The workers also sleep in the forest for the work. Rejoicing everyone and also sharing the news on the offering of pillars by the words of mouths. Good thoughts, Good Speech and Good action.

这几天,隆普(Luang Pu)一直前往森林,亲自视察用于寺院建筑工程的木材采伐工作。今天清晨约七点左右就出发,日夜奔波。

对寺院与隆普的这一份付出心怀感恩,同时也将大家在功德上的善行禀告给隆普,尤其是在森林中参与布施建造法堂(Sala)所供养的柱子的功德。

隆普也亲自穿上靴子,在森林中来回巡视,监督工程进度。工人们也为了施工方便,直接在森林中过夜工作。

大家随喜赞叹这一切善行,并通过口耳相传,分享供养柱子的善讯。这正体现了“善念、善语、善行”的实践与延续。

Luang Pu Kongma guiding villagers to take refuge in the Triple Gem

“What people practice as sorcery and occult arts—what you see there—he said, is wrong view (micchā-diṭṭhi). There are mild forms, intermediate forms, and severe forms of wrong view.

So he would have them come to receive the Threefold Refuge—this becomes right view (sammā-diṭṭhi).

Whoever takes refuge in the Triple Gem—wherever Luang Pu Kongma went, he would encourage people to undertake the Three Refuges:

Take the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha as your true refuge. Do not take spirits as your refuge. Spirits are of a lower realm—when you venerate what is low, your future also declines.

But the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha—the Triple Gem—are exalted. One must revere the Triple Gem. When you venerate what is higher, your future will rise accordingly.”

因此,他就引导他们来受持*三皈依,使之转为正见(sammā-diṭṭhi)。

凡是皈依三宝的人——隆普贡玛无论到哪里,都会教导人们受持三皈依:

以佛、法、僧为真正的依止,不要以鬼神作为依靠。鬼神属于较低的层次,崇拜低下的对象,未来也会随之低落。

而佛、法、僧——三宝是至高的,应当恭敬礼拜。崇敬高尚之处,未来也会随之提升。”

The spiritual merit and karmic perfections of each person are different.
That is why we must gradually cultivate our own merit and virtues.

It is not enough to simply wish to become wealthy like others while never having cultivated generosity or goodness.

First, we should establish ourselves in giving and morality and then our spiritual perfections will steadily grow.

For example, during the time I followed Luang Pu Chob Thanasamo on tudong wanderings, I ate Java plums that tasted sour. But when Luang Pu Chob ate the very same fruit, they became wonderfully sweet.

Do you see? The spiritual perfections of people are different.

Perhaps the devas made them sweet for him.
But when I ate them, they were still sour,
because my merit and spiritual cultivation had not yet reached the level of the venerable master.

Or perhaps it truly was the devas.
Can you see the immense spiritual virtue of Luang Pu Chob?

人的福德与波罗蜜,本来就各不相同。
所以我们必须不断累积自己的福报与功德。

不是只想着像别人那样富有,
却从未培植布施与善业。
我们首先要建立“布施”与“持戒”的基础,
如此,波罗蜜才能逐渐增长圆满。

举个例子,过去我跟随 隆普卓 外出头陀行时,我吃一种“爪哇蒲桃”时,味道是酸的。
可是当隆普卓尊者吃的时候,
同样的果子竟然变得甘甜无比,令人惊叹。

看到了吗?
人与人的波罗蜜确实不同。
也许是天神护持,使果子变甜了。
而我吃的时候,却依然是酸的,
因为自己的福德与修行,还未达到尊者那样的境界。

或者,也许真的是天神所为。
这不正显示出隆普卓尊者深厚广大的波罗蜜吗?
