Jesus didn’t want the temple to be a place that kept people away from God. He wanted it to be a place where everyone could come and worship.

When He said, “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations,” He reminded us that worship was never meant to be reserved for a select few. God’s house is a place where people can come to seek Him, pray, and draw near to Him.

May our churches always be places that point people toward God, not places that make it harder for them to find Him.

Where we place our time, attention, and energy reveals what matters most to us.

Because our life is in Christ, let’s not let the things of this world become our main focus. Let’s seek Him, set our minds on Him, and invest our lives in what lasts.

“If your life is in Christ, invest your life in Christ.”

Our position comes first. Then our focus follows.

Because we have been raised with Christ, we can set our minds on Him—not because we need to earn something from Him but because our life is already found in Him.

His goodness isn’t something we have to earn, it’s who He is. May everything we do for Him come from a heart that simply wants to honor Him.

What does it truly mean to be blessed?

Our greatest blessings are not found in what we own, what we achieve, or what this world can offer. They are found in what God has done for us through Christ.

The Father chose us.
The Son redeemed us.
The Holy Spirit sealed us.

These are blessings that cannot be taken away, blessings that are not temporary, but eternal. So whatever season we may be walking through, we can still say with confidence:

We are blessed.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”
Ephesians 1:3

Yesterday, we were reminded of the incredible spiritual blessings we have in Christ. The Father chose us, the Son redeemed us, and the Holy Spirit sealed us. These are not temporary blessings that can fade away or be taken from us. They are ours for eternity!

No matter what circumstances we may be facing, we can remember this truth: we are blessed.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3

To the praise of His glory. 🤍

A reminder from Sunday’s sermon: we are loved, freed, and appointed.

Loved by Christ with a love that continues today. Freed from our sins through His sacrifice. And appointed to serve Him and reflect Him in the way we live.

May these three truths shape how we see ourselves and how we live each day.

Yesterday, we were reminded of the promises we have in Christ from Revelation 1:5–6. His love for us is continuous, He has completely freed us from our sins, and He has given us a new identity and a purpose, to be His people, called to serve Him.

A powerful reminder of who Jesus is and who we are because of Him.

“Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen." Revelation 1:5-6
