"Rinngggg..."

It’s 5:00 a.m. and my alarm clock just went off.

Groping in the dark and hit the snooze button for extra 5 minutes as if it will really matter.

The morning battle began.

Battle between the comfort of my bed that’s pulling me down and the opportunity that I can spend an intimate moment with God.

In Matthew 26:41 Jesus said “…The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

That’s why most Christians are inconsistent in their personal devotion with God.

Your sinful body tells you various reasons why you can skip your daily devotion with God.

It magnifies all the things in your to do list and it feels like each one on your list is yelling “URGENT!”

So skipping your morning devotion with God is easy BUT it’s not healthy.

But I tell you what: The KEY to a consistent time with God is “HABIT.”

Study shows that it will take 21 days before a certain activity becomes a habit.

In short, if you’ll be consistent in your Quiet Time with God for the first 21 days it will turn into a habit.

Once habit is set, there’s no more struggle in staying committed with God in your appointment with Him.

It’s called The Quiet Time Habit.

A Great Witness For God

In 1967, a diving accident left Joni Eareckson Tada paralyzed from the neck down.

She has had no feeling or movement in her arms or legs. She uses her mouth to paint and write.

God used her greatly.

She has been a great witness for God and an encouragement to many.

She has written many books, the first one was her autobiography "Joni." She has visited 35 countries sharing the Gospel.

A movie about her life has been translated into 15 languages.

In fact, it is very likely that God has graciously used Joni far more as a paralyzed woman than if she had never had the accident.

God turned her mourning into joy.

Surely, with God's powerful words you can overcome any fears, frustrations, and regrets.

Everyday meditate your memory verse.

Start memorizing just one verse and grow from there.

WARNING: Fear and Deception

Few months ago I was awakened by cries and mumbling by my son Paulo.

Paulo was sleeping beside me that night.

He’s dreaming and crying so I immediately woke him up.

Have you had that kind of experience?

I had one too.

In fact, for a split second I even heard myself crying during the transition from sleeping to awaken.

These experiences taught us something about our brain and emotions.

That is, our brain can’t always determine between reality and imagination.

When you create a picture in your head and make it as vivid as possible your brain will eventually believe that it is real.

This is how fear can paralyze you.

You can define F.E.A.R. as… False Evidence Appearing Real.

Fact is, God is ready and more than willing to…

…Bless you beyond your ability to pray.
…Promote you in your work and community.
…Heal you from physical and emotional pains.

But if let your fear immobilize you, you’re not going anywhere.

This is why you MUST, not should, but must meditate God’s word wherever whenever.

Quite simply, if you’re not meditating His Words you’re meditating regrets, worries, and in life.

Best thing is, there’s no age limit in memorizing scriptures.

We are so blessed to be with you as a family!..Joker tanan, tummy ache sa kadlaw, always busog sa pagkaon (my ebidensya gid), buliganay sa tanan, bearing each burden even in simple ways, mabakod sa pulawanay basta present ang "telephone charades", saot man basta ara ang leader, kanta bisan diin lang, bisan dako ang balod sa dagat, lagaw2 to refresh, bulos2 hugas, pero ang taga luto constant gd nga expert, bugtaw man bisan aga pa for our early morning fellowship mapa park, chaopraya & wherever, unstoppable nga picture2, BUT ABOVE ALL THE QUALITY OF FELLOWSHIP, FUN, CRAZINESS, THE BFF & BEST ENEMY IN CRACKING JOKES, IN WHATEVER & WHEREVER WE CAN BE ARE MUCH WORTH TO CHERISH & PRICELESS; ALL OF THESE ARE EVIDENT BECAUSE WE ARE GROWING MATURELY IN THE LOVE OF THE FATHER WHO IS THE SOURCE OF ENDLESS JOY & CONTENTMENT. MAY WE CONTINUE TO LOVE MORE EACH DAY AS HE FIRST LOVED US!..
