Message of CCT General Secretary
In honor to Rev. Florian Foerg
It is a great shock to all of us to hear of the sudden passing away of Rev. Dr. Florian Foerg on early March 1, 2022. The Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT) wishes to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the members of his family especially Mrs. Kathrin Ingrid Foerg, his wife and Judith Jerunee Foerg (daughter) and members of the Stiftung Marburger Mission at this time of grief and mourning.
Rev. Dr. Florian has been known to us as the missionary to the McGilvary College of Divinity, Payap University since 2012. Since then, Rev. Dr. Florian actively served God in various capacities. He also served God sharing his strong Christian faith and manifesting Jesus’ ways in local churches. He has been loved among students, faculty and everyone around him.
Rev. Dr. Florian has truly left us, but the insights, examples, lessons, and experiences he shared with each one of us will forever be in our hearts and minds and will further remind us that our spiritual journey continues until the day that Christ is all in all.
Once again, we wish to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to you all. We continue to pray to God almighty to strengthen you all. May God almighty give his near and dear ones strength and courage in their bereavement and at the same time celebrate the fruitful and meaningful life that God had blessed him with.
