We’re also passionate about addressing the local and global concerns of justice, advocacy and the poor. Moreover, the arts and beauty are important to us.

We are a community of misfits who zealously loves God and the misfits of this world even in the midst of pain and discomfort.

So what is Newsong like? We’re serious about embracing this ideal of reconciliation as it deals with God and humankind. We feel it is our responsibility to help lead a renaissance of community transformation among the under resourced. Diversity is not just about being politically correct. To us it’s about reflecting the very heart of God. While you may not be ready to get involved right away, there are a variety of exciting possibilities at Newsong for you to meet people just like yourself. Our culture is not about strong-arming you into a connection with God but about honest conversations concerning our relationship with God, our community with one another, and our responsibility to humbly serve the misfits of our world. We are glad you took a moment to see what we’re about.

Our vision is to become more like Jesus by seeing our city the way Jesus sees it, loving its people the way Jesus loves them, and serving our city the way Jesus calls us to serve.
