Daily Devotional:
Jesus Restores My Soul

“He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3, NIV

Life can make the heart tired. We can smile on the outside, but inside we may feel weak, confused, dry, or far from God. Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is not only our Shepherd who provides for us. He is also the Shepherd who restores us.

David says, “He refreshes my soul.” This means God brings life back to the places in us that feel empty. He heals what sin, fear, pressure, and disappointment have damaged. He does not leave His sheep broken and wandering. He comes near, lifts us, and leads us again.

This points us to Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11). He gave His life for us on the cross so we could be forgiven, restored, and brought back to God. True restoration begins when we turn from sin and trust in Jesus. He does not only improve our lives. He saves our souls.

Psalm 23:3 also says, “He guides me along the right paths.” Jesus does not restore us so we can return to the same old ways. He leads us into a new life that honors God. His path is not always easy, but it is always right. When we follow Him, our lives begin to show His name, His grace, and His goodness.

Application:
Today, bring your tired heart to Jesus. Stop trying to carry everything alone. Ask Him to forgive you, restore you, and guide your steps. Before making decisions, pray. Before reacting in anger, pause. Before giving up, remember that your Shepherd is still leading you.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are my Good Shepherd. Thank You for giving Your life for me. Forgive my sins and restore my soul. Lead me on the right path today. Help me follow Your voice and live in a way that brings honor to Your name. Strengthen my heart and use my life to point others to You. Amen.

Daily Devotional:
Empowered to Witness for Jesus

Bible Text: Acts 1:8, KJV
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Before Jesus returned to the Father, He gave His disciples a clear mission. They were not sent out in their own strength. They were told to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8 shows us that the Holy Spirit is given for more than personal blessing. He empowers believers to speak about Jesus, live for Jesus, and point others to Jesus.

The center of this verse is Christ. Jesus said, “ye shall be witnesses unto me.” The message of the Church is not human success, church programs, or personal opinion. The message is Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, exalted, and coming again.

The disciples began in Jerusalem, the place closest to them. Then the witness moved outward to Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. This teaches us that mission begins where we are. Your home, workplace, school, neighborhood, and friendships are places where Christ has placed you to reflect Him.

To be a witness does not mean you need to know everything. A witness tells what is true. You speak of the Jesus who saves, forgives, restores, and gives eternal life. You live with love, holiness, courage, and compassion so others see Christ in you.

Daily Application:
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with boldness and love. Look for one person to encourage, pray for, or speak to about Jesus. Let your words and your life point people to Him.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for saving me and calling me to be Your witness. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me boldness, wisdom, and love to speak about You. Help me live in a way that honors You and draws others to Your grace. Use my life to bring people to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Daily Devotional:
Someone Needs to Hear

Romans 10:14, KJV
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?”

Faith begins when someone hears the good news of Jesus Christ. Paul reminds us that people cannot call on Jesus if they have never heard about Him. This means the message of salvation must be shared.

Jesus is the centre of this verse. He is the One people need to know. He died for our sins, rose again, and gives forgiveness and new life to all who believe in Him. The world does not need only good advice. The world needs the Saviour.

Many people around us are waiting to hear a simple word about Jesus. It may be a family member, a friend, a neighbour, a classmate, or someone at work. You do not need perfect words. You need a willing heart. Tell them what Jesus has done for you. Invite them to church. Pray for them. Show Christ through love, patience, and truth.

Application:
Today, ask God to show you one person who needs to hear about Jesus. Pray for courage. Speak with love. Share the gospel simply: Jesus saves, Jesus forgives, and Jesus gives eternal life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for saving me. Help me not to keep the good news to myself. Give me courage to speak about You with love and wisdom. Open the hearts of those who need to hear Your truth. Use my life to point people to You. Amen.

Daily devotional:
Led by Christ in Victory

2 Corinthians 2:14, KJV
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

Paul wrote these words while facing pressure, opposition, and uncertainty. His life was not easy, yet he still gave thanks to God. Why? Because his victory was not found in comfort, success, or human strength. His victory was found in Christ.

The phrase “triumph in Christ” points to Jesus as the One who has already won the victory. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus defeated sin, shame, and death. Everyone who turns to Him in faith is brought into His victory. We do not save ourselves. We are saved by grace through Jesus Christ.

Paul also says God spreads “the savour of his knowledge” through us. This means our lives should carry the fragrance of Christ. When people meet us, they should sense something different. They should see mercy, truth, forgiveness, humility, and hope. Our words and actions should point them to Jesus.

This verse also reminds us that evangelism is not only for the pulpit. God uses ordinary believers in ordinary places. At home, at school, at work, in church, and in the community, your life has a message. When you walk with Christ, your life begins to speak of Christ.

You may face battles today. You may feel weak, tired, or unsure. But your victory is not based on your feelings. It is based on Jesus. Stay close to Him. Let Him lead you. Let your life carry His presence.

Practical Response:
Today, thank God for the victory you have in Christ. Ask yourself: “What fragrance is my life giving to others?” Speak with grace. Forgive quickly. Share Jesus with courage. Let your life make Christ known wherever you go.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for leading me in Your victory. I confess that I cannot save myself, but I trust in Your death and resurrection. Fill my life with Your presence. Let my words, actions, and attitude carry the fragrance of Christ. Use me to make You known in my home, church, workplace, and community. Help me live as a witness of Your grace and truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Offense will always come.

Someone will hurt you, misunderstand you, or treat you unfairly.

The question is not if you will be offended, but how you will respond.

Will you let bitterness take root, or will you let God’s love guard your heart?

Think about this: How many times have you offended God with your words, actions, or even your silence?

Yet in His mercy, He forgave you.

An unoffendable heart is not about ignoring pain. It’s about refusing to let pain become poison.

When you hold on to offense, you stay trapped. But when you release it to God, you walk in His freedom and peace.

So I ask you: What offense are you still carrying? Who is it that you need to forgive?

Don’t let your heart be chained by bitterness. Let Christ soften your spirit and teach you to love beyond the hurt.

The world may tell you to fight back, but Jesus calls you to a higher road, a heart that is unoffendable.

Daily Devotional:
Walk With the Wise

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20, KJV

Devotional:
The people we walk with shape the direction of our lives. Proverbs 13:20 teaches a simple but serious truth. Wise company helps us grow in wisdom, but foolish company leads us toward harm.

To “walk with” someone means more than being near them. It means sharing life, listening to their advice, following their example, and allowing their values to influence your heart. God cares about your relationships because relationships affect your faith, choices, character, and future.

The Bible does not teach us to hate people who make wrong choices. Jesus loved sinners and called them to repentance. He ate with tax collectors and sinners, but He did not follow their ways. Instead, He called them to follow Him. This is important. We are called to love people, pray for them, and share Christ with them, but we must not allow ungodly influence to pull us away from God.

The wisest person you can walk with is Jesus Christ. He is not only a teacher of wisdom. He is the wisdom of God. In Him, we find truth, salvation, forgiveness, and new life. When you walk with Jesus, He changes your heart, guides your steps, and gives you the strength to choose what is right.

This verse also has an evangelizing message. Without Christ, people walk in darkness and need the light of the gospel. Jesus came to save us from sin and lead us into life with God. He died on the cross, rose again, and now calls every person to follow Him. The greatest decision anyone can make is to leave the path of sin and walk with Christ.

Application to Daily Living:
Choose your close friends with care. Ask yourself, “Are these people helping me walk closer to God, or pulling me away from Him?”

Seek people who love truth, honor God, speak with wisdom, and encourage you to do what is right.

Be kind to everyone, but be careful who you allow to shape your heart.

Spend time daily with Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and obedience. His voice must be stronger than every other voice around you.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for calling me to walk with You. Help me choose wise friendships and avoid influences that lead me away from You. Give me a heart that loves people, but also stands firm in truth. Save those around me who do not yet know You, and use my life to point them to Your grace. Teach me to walk in wisdom every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord, never let me become so gifted that I stop weeping before You.

Never let my preaching replace my prayer.
Never let serving You become more important than knowing You.
Never let ministry make me numb to Your Presence.

My God, I would rather be a weeping man with Your presence than a gifted man without Your fire.

If my gifting ever becomes greater than my brokenness, break me again.

Keep my heart soft. Keep my spirit trembling.
Keep tears in my eyes whenever Your Presence comes near.

Lord, do not allow me to stand on platforms with a dry heart. Do not let me speak about You while slowly drifting from You.

I do not want to be impressive to people, I want to be intimate with you. I do not want to move crowds if I no longer move Your heart.

Let me never become too familiar with holy things that I stop weeping at Your Name, Jesus.

Lord, if brokenness touches Your heart, then let me remain broken before You forever.

Checked. Healed. By the blood of Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we react strongly and only realize later that the moment touched something deeper.

A simple comment. A delayed reply.
A correction. A misunderstanding.
A tone we did not like. A situation
that made us feel ignored, rejected, or unseen.

And suddenly, our response feels
bigger than what actually happened.

Not because we are trying to be difficult,
but because something beneath
the surface is still tender.

Scripture says,
“Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Psalm 139:23–24

God does not reveal these places to shame us.
He reveals them to heal us.
Our strongest reactions can
become invitations to prayer.
They can show us where fear still lives.
Where rejection still hurts.
Where pride still rises.
Where healing is still needed.

So before we only ask,
“What did they do wrong?”

Maybe we also need to ask,
“Lord, what is this revealing in me?”

My prayer today,
Lord, show me what needs healing beneath my reactions.
Search my heart with mercy, restore what is wounded,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Amen.

Heart Check:
Is my reaction only about this moment, or is God showing me a wound that still needs healing?
