ปู่กายแก้ว - "Kru Kai Kaew"
Kru Kai Kaew is a deity known by Thai people as "Pho Yai" or "The Powerful Occult Spirit". According to history, the first statue of Kru Kai Kaew was created by a monk from Lampang Province in the north of Thailand who went to meditate at Ankor Wat (cambodia) and then gave the statue to a disciple name AJ Suchat. One day the spirit of Kru Kai Kaew appeared in front of AJ Suchat. He described Kru Kai Kaew as an old man standing with fangs and half human - half bird body.
Kru Kai Kaew is said to be the Teacher of all arts and those who practices the occult such as necromancy, controlling spirits etc worship Kru Kai Kaew to attain spiritual abilities, knowledge and protection.
Kru Kai Kaew became popular among local Thais and there is even a statue of Kru Kai Kaew located at Huay Kwang (Bangkok) where locals would worship and ask for wish and chiang mai also have kru Kai kaew is at statue of Phra pitkanet in chiangmai
Kru Kai Kaew is believed to share miracle and fulfil wishes of prayers especially for success in business and monetary windfall and fortune. He is also regardless as "the god of wealth" by some people who receive unexpected windfall of wealth after praying to his image.
This amulet is meant to be worn for all round protection, wealth, granting wishes and fortune. Morever, those who keep many "barang" amulet should also wear this or keep the roop near spirit items to empower and control them.
