Rediscovering Monotheism
Now in my mid-30s, I have realized that I never truly learned the full syllabus of monotheism. What I received was partial teaching, never a clear path on where to begin or how to search for truth. From the start, I was pushed toward one school, one set of teachers, as though that was the only way forward.
The reality is that no single group or sect can claim to hold the complete essence of the religion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Genuine understanding requires listening to all schools of thought, reflecting carefully, and filtering what aligns with the timeless foundations of Islam. Only then does one reach true monotheism—the faith of Adam and Eve, completed in the final message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
It is also clear that no sect, school, or party is without flaws. Innovation, ignorance, and even business are often carried out in the name of religion. This is true even among degree holders, muftis, and scholars. Blind loyalty to one group strengthens the grip of those who misuse religion for their own gain. Such black sheep turn faith into a trade, presenting it as complex when in reality it is simple and pure. Instead of encouraging people to seek truth, they conceal it.
True monotheism is not found in the monopoly of any group, but in the sincere pursuit of truth, reflection, and the guidance preserved from Adam to the final Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
