🔹2. Write donors Name on coffin for Temple Chanting and Blessed by abbot of temple.
On the donors paper , there will be this chant from thai scripture Included. I translate out into hanyu pin yin and English for better understanding🙏🏼
บริจาคโรงศพ เพื่อสะเดาะเคราะห์ สร้างบุญกุศล ต่ออายุ อุทิศให้เจ้ากรรมนายเวร และญาติที่ล่วงลับ ขอส่งผลให้ข้าพเจ้าและครอบครัว พ้นจากทุกข์ทั้งสิ้น และขอให้พบเจอแต่สิ่งดีๆตลอดไป
Borijak lon sop puea sa-dor kor
Sang bun gu-son dtor aa-yu utit
Hai jao gam nai waen lae yaat tee luang lap
Cor song pon jaak tuk tang sin lae
Cor Hai pop jer dtae sing dee dee talod pai
Translation : the ritual of donation coffin to
Expel bad luck , build up merit to Prolong life.
For the deceased for family for our past karma. And may this act of deed allow us to be free from all sufferings and only good things to come into our lives.

Significance of the Project
🙏Many people in Thailand are too poor to provide a proper burial for their dead loved ones and they will seek help from the temples. As times go by, the practice of coffin donation by devotees to help the poor becomes a norm and a way for Buddhists to gain merits, and gain good karma.
To them coffin donation is for good luck and to reduce the impact of negative karma, and is one of the quickest and most effective ways to change one's destiny for the better.
🙏the types of meritorious activities that conduce to happiness, focusing primarily on three: giving, virtue and meditation.
🙏In Chinese character, 棺材 shares the same pronunciation as 官財 in the idiom 升官發財, which means to be promoted.
The act of donating a coffin 棺材, carries a very auspicious meaning and implication for 官財 (promotion and prosperity) to return to you.
🙏The merit of coffin donation in various beliefs
Donating a coffin to help the needy or the dead without relatives. This is a merit-making merit. And the desire to help fellow humans together (Dharma compassion)
