Today’s Sabbath sermon by Mr. Surong Anak Jamang focused on the theme “The Temple of the Holy Spirit,” emphasizing that God no longer seeks merely outward forms of worship, but hearts fully surrendered to Him. Drawing from passages such as Isaiah 29:13 and Jeremiah 7:4, the sermon warned against becoming “empty temples” that appear righteous outwardly while lacking true spiritual devotion inwardly. Through John 2:19–21, the message highlighted Jesus as the true temple and explained how, under the new covenant in Jeremiah 31:31–33, God desires to dwell within His people by writing His law upon their hearts. Using 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 and Romans 12:1, Mr. Jamang reminded the congregation that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and should therefore be dedicated to holy living, both physically and spiritually. The sermon encouraged believers to care for their health, thoughts, character, and relationship with God, producing the fruit of the Spirit and allowing Christ to dwell within them. Concluding with Revelation 3:20 and John 14:23, the message called everyone to open their hearts to God and become a true dwelling place for His presence.
