In the video is Cardinal Raniero Cantalamessa, the preacher to the Papal Household since 1980 who endorses the Alpha Course along with Fr. James Mallon and other priest and laity who tried running or joining the Alpha Course. Fr. James is the pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and founder of the Divine Renovation Ministry.

One of the most surprising things about Alpha online is that guests are much more open and vulnerable than when meeting in person. It is incredible seeing the power that friendship and love have over a video discussion.
