This past weekend, as we gathered and sought the Lord together, a clear picture began to form. Not just of who we are, but how deeply we belong to one another.
We were reminded that our lives are not separate. When one of us is strengthened, it lifts us all. When one of us hurts, we all feel it. Like the roots of a living tree, we are connected beneath the surface, drawing life from Christ and giving it away to the world around us, even when everything around us feels dry.
God is building something among us that is both strong and alive. A sense of safety, like a harness that holds us when we fall. A sense of growth, where each generation is teaching and receiving. A sense of movement, where prayer and the Holy Spirit guide us forward with purpose.
We are learning to be a people who fix our eyes on what is unseen. A people who can both celebrate and lament. A people who are attentive to each other and sensitive to the voice of God.
As we step into Resurrection Sunday, we remember that new life does not come in isolation. It comes in community. Jesus didn’t just rise to save individuals, but to form a body that reflects Him to the world.
So we move forward together. Built together. Shaped together. Sent together.
Because in Him, and with each other, we truly live.
