REJECTION IS REDIRECTION
The Apostle Paul, too, had a ministry laden with rejection. He was constantly running for his life, being stoned, almost at the point of death, and losing friends for the sake of the of the gospel.

At Paul's last defence in 2 Timothy 4:16 soon before his death, Paul says " At my last defence no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me" can you just imagine? And he said BUT THE LORD STOOD BY ME.

This is a word many of us fear to hear. Rejection hurts and is often misinterpreted as a negative sign. It's regarded as an evidence of our unsatisfactory skills or self. It hits us hard. It makes us wonder if something is amiss with us. We start tearing ourselves apart with self criticism and doubting our skills and ability. However it can teach us and redirect towards better things.

# LET REJECTION NOT DEFINE YOUR SELF-WORTH.

The Bible doesn't promise that life on earth would be pleasant for believers. Neither is it the will of God for us to strive or survive; His plan is for us to thrive and be fruitful.
In Genesis Isaac in a foreign land. He was different, spoke a different language. As he tried to settle in the land God promised his family he faced MULTIPLE OF OPPOSITION, FINALLY FORCED OUT OF HIS LOCATION ONCE HE BECAME SUCCESSFUL. His efforts were frustrated by the hostility of those around him.
☆ Despite the hostility he kept moving forward.
1. Even in a hostile environment you can still succeed as long as you put your trust to God.
2. Never lose your connection with God.
3. Note that beside being out from the promised land, he continued to prosper because it was not the land that made him prosper but GOD.

It was until the enemy said in Geneis 26:28
" We have seen plainly that the Lord has been with you........"

# Always have in mind that your success will sooner or later affect the people around you.
BEHOLD , I SEND YOU OUT AS SHEEP IN THE MIDST OF WOLVES. THEIR FOR BE WISE AS SERPENTS AND HARMLESS AS DOVES.

We are facing a time when Christimas Christ is missing. Amid all the food, fellowship, family and fun, etc, it's easy to miss Christ at Christmas day. If the Innkeeper only knew that this bay boy born in his hotel was the son of the Living God, trust me they would find a room. The Innkeeper had no room and the question is DO YOU ANY ROOM? IS THERE ANY SPACE to give Jesus?
Don't loose Jesus this Christmas after all how can you have birthday party for someone we don't recognize, then whose birthday is for?
One of the reasons we have a lot of troubles in our world, our lives, our homes today is because the King has been rejected.
1. Innkeeper missed Christ....................He was too industrious
2. Herod missed Christ ..........................He was insecure
3. Religious Leaders missed Christ........Indifferent

DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU TO DO
If you want joy in your life, do whatever HE tells you to do, if you want peace do whatever HE tells you to do.
It may not make sense
It may be contradicting
It may sound crazy
But do whatever He tells you to do.
It's time we pass the stage of being hearers of the word but doers of the Word. WHATEVER, not SOME, of the things but all.

PROBLEM
The problem of the church today, we go to church, celebrate, listen to the Word but that's where we end and not doing.

In the wedding at Canna, Jesus spoke to the servant not the guest but the guest ended up receiving the fruits of the obedience of the servants,
# When He speaks His Voice makes the difference and we don't have to wait for people to validate on what He says but DO Whatever He Tells You To Do.

A GREAT MAN'S JOURNEY BEGINS WITH GOD
Every journey there is where it starts, and ending. The journey of Great men and women Begins with an encounter with God. He always reveals himself anyone who wants to walk with Him.
1. Moses had an encounter with God, though he knew about God of his forefathers but he himself did not know God. It's one thing to know about someone and another to know him yourself. One day Moses was busy tending flock and his daily routine when he saw a bush burning but not consumed.
Note, He made a decision to go closer and see. It was when God called him from that Bush. At this point God wanted to use Moses for a noble task so He needed to introduce Himself to the messenger ( Moses ) so that he would know what he would be talking about.
# An encounter at the beginning of a journey helps one throughout the journey to be courageous even when the assignment given becomes difficult. Once you have an encounter God nothing can stop you

For you to be counted among the great, heroes of faith, you gonna fight battles, you will pay the price so never walk by what you see at times, your circumstances. If you look at where you are now and where you want to go, if you focus on that then you will loose hope. What you see sometimes now and been told first does not end.
So walk with what the Word of God says even when it doesn't make sense trust Him. Let me assure someone we are not crisis but in Christ. Every test God will make it a testimony and mess to messages.
# " A good story is not a good story because of how it begins but because of how it ends "
