As we commemorate Youth Month, our Father in the Lord, Apostle Jethro Malindzisa, lifted up a heartfelt cry before God for the continent of Africa and for a generation that will burn for Jesus.
A prayer was made that the fire of revival would sweep across our churches, communities, schools, workplaces, and nations. That young people would not be ashamed of the Gospel, but would carry the fire of prayer, soul winning, intercession, worship, and witnessing into every mountain of human influence.
A burden was also carried for the generations to work together in harmony. That the elders would not quench the fire God is kindling in the youth, but would nurture it, strengthen it, and faithfully pass on the baton. That when one generation departs to glory, it will not be said that this generation quenched the fire of God, that there would still be a fire burning on the altar and a people running with the vision of God.
May Africa remember God again. May the fire burn from Cape to Cairo. May the Lord raise a generation that will carry His presence, proclaim His Gospel, and glorify His Name.
“‘And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.’” - Joel 2:28 (NKJV)
