From rags to riches is not a journey of the faint hearted.

The Bible says, "It is not by might nor power, but it is by the Spirit of the Lord". Great partiners, enough resources, heavy machinery, but still, it took the grace of God to get to the water table.

On behalf of the Church on the Hill Bulunga, thank you to friends and partners, for making this great resource, that life can not do without, be available to the brethren.

1 TIMOTHY 6:6 It is a fight of faith, that leads to eternity, not to man, but for man.

No Sunday service is ever the same. But every new challenge comes to remind us, about the value of what we are called to do. Giving up is not an option, because of the eternal value that rules in our hearts.

In four years of preaching at the Church on the Hill, we have never had to leave the car behind and walk for 4km-+, to get to church, due to a slippery road after a heavy storm.

After sweating and panting, we had a great service with the few that came. The absence of the car under a tree, meant to some members that, we had not managed to be there, hence, very few people came to worship with us. Maybe we should bring back the bell.

We thank God for the grace, that comes sometimes in common sense, and the benefits that leaves us spiritually, emotionally even physically fit!!!

As we celebrated our Thanksgiving day at Bulunga Church on the Hill, our hearts were shifted to all friends and partners...

Village ministry does not change the congregation alone, but the preacher as well. The unexpected, not prepared for happens; from a slippery road, to an almost empty church.

Because of the storm and the cold weather, only two adults showed up. Surprisingly, about 36 kids and 12 youths came to church.

We had to think quickly and grouped congregants into 3 groups, and shared the corners of the sanctuary, because the outside was not conducive.

The interpreter took the kids, my wife took the young adults and I took the two lady adults.

We had a wonderful Bible study and later a hot meal was shared, for man shall not live by the Word alone.

Another balanced day was successful; praise be to the living God Jesus Christ!!!

A big thanks to all partners, intercessors praying for the Church on the Hill and friends. Blessings unspeakable to you all!!!

Greetings saints of the most Higher God!!!

We are a blessed church to have a sanctuary and a tank of water. Unfortunately, last Sunday we found that, some people broke in and took clothes we had kept in preparation of Christmas thanks giving sharing spirit. They stole all the children toys and the food we had stored for cooking for the hungry.

These evil people tried to twist the tank tap forcefully to break it, or steal it we suspect.

Our urgent prayers now is the security of the property. We need a fence to secure the place as soon as possible. Please brethren, partner with us to secure this work of God.

We also need prayers for these people to be saved; may the good Lord Jesus forgive them.

Church was different today alone.

From removing water in a waterlogged church because of a dripping roof, to visiting an old gogo who had a terrible night due to a leaking roof as well; her belongings were soaked, so much that she had to spend a night by the neighbor.

Desperate situation that left us wondering how the old lady's next night will be like.

A few kids made it through the storm. We had to make a quick meal, to help them keep warm and at least have a meal. Who knows what brought them in that terrible weather.

They watched some cartoons as we struggled to make a fire in a rainy day. Belinda taught them about Samuel and Eli, explaining to them that God can call anyone at any age.

Another well balanced message preached about Jesus, by feeding His flock literally as well.

We had yet another successful, thanks giving gathering at Bulunga Church on the Hill. We humble ourselves and thank Jesus Christ first, our God, our enabler in all and to all our faithful partners. We love you all, God bless you always.

Pastor Ray and Pastor Bonsile, we were humbled and we shall forever be grateful, for the privilege to serve God under you. Your words are empowering.

The IFC Benevolence team, Make Dludlu ,Make Mahluza, you are the move of Christ indeed, the donations portrayed the hand of God reaching out to His people. Thanks for a splendid team spirit.

Big up to my missionary Vicky, mum, big sister, aunt, my dean, thanks for the support. You sacrificed to come even when you were not feeling ok, that means a lot to put in words; your heart for ministry is amazing.

Babe Dludlu, your sermon illuminated in our hearts the true sense of giving; indeed everything belongs to God, we are just the channels to reach out to the needy man. God bless you and we thank you for your time, and contributions to the growth of COTH, spiritually and materially.

We Christians are the qualified chosen race to give answers to this unknown pandemic, because we worship the All Knowing JESUS CHRIST.

Prayers by Daniel gave answers to the whole kingdom, Joseph did it for Egypt, he solved their to come famine. We can as well pray to our GOD of Impossibles, He is attentive, just and faithful, even to help us now.

Let's pray together in chain prayers against the Corona Virus, we will succeed even this time. Set even 30mins a day of your time, just kneel and pray. He is the same GOD then, carrying the same power even now; He will heal us.

GOD bless and protect you all, in the Mighty JESUS'S name!!!
