This weekend, the St. Joseph Sodality joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph, the spouse of the Virgin Mary. The memorable event took place at Salesian High School, with the honored presence of our special guests from the Deaf Community.
The celebration began with Holy Mass, presided over by our Spiritual Director, Fr. Mswane, who in his homily encouraged the faithful to serve God alone with unwavering devotion. Furthermore, two new prospective members were warmly introduced to the Sodality—Patrick Motsa and Sibusiso Zulu from the Deaf Community—after expressing their interest in joining.
Following the Mass, we had enriching presentations from our Spiritual Director and a representative from the Deaf Community, who shared meaningful insights on how we can better understand, support, and live in unity with the Deaf Community.
As a gesture of love and solidarity, the St. Joseph Sodality presented gifts—blankets—to members of the Deaf Community, a timely offering as the winter season approaches.
The day concluded in fellowship as we shared a meal together, strengthening our bond as one community in Christ.
“Go to St. Joseph.”
