2 Corinthians 10:4
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
THEIR WEAPONS,
WHAT ABOUT OURS...
Good morning.
We thank God for today and His faithfulness toward us.
May we receive our devotion this morning.
A question may come as to what sort of weapons do we use when faced with calamity, when faced with an enemy, when faced with trials, tribulations, difficulty, a problem, etc...
We remember David when he was faced with Goliath. Goliath was prepared and had all the weapons to take lil David down. But what did David take to face giant Goliath with. Would we say he was prepared. Based on human nature he wasn't prepared. He just wouldn't face giant Goliath with only a few stones!
But he took him down! David knocked giant Goliath down instantly! What was it that David had? He had the name of the Lord. He made sure he faced giant Goliath with the name of the Lord.
We do not fight as the world fight when a war wages. Goliath made sure to get himself covered like one of the world. There are so many times when we act like giant Goliath. When we try to stand in place of God in our difficult situations. We'd even hear someone saying God helps those who helps themselves! No such!
Let's go out today with the assurance that our God is great. Our God knows what we need and at the right time. He is powerful. He needs no assistance from us to save us. All we need to do is PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! He will do the rest at the right time.
Prayer is the greatest weapon that is able to demolish any stronghold in our lives. Let's use it and see the greatness of our Father at work in us.
God bless us all ๐
