Good morning lovely people in the wonderful and powerful name of Christ Jesus.
As we prepare to go for fellowship, may you please allow me to awaken your awareness and your readiness in this perilous times as Paul called them when addressing Timothy. In Timothy 3.
Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus tells a parable of the ten (10) virgins. Let’s take verse 5 and 6, so not to waist time
Verse 5,” WHEN THE BRIDEGROOM WAS DELAYED, THEY ALL BECAME DROWSY AND FELL ASLEEP.
Verse 6,” AT MIDNIGHT THEY WERE ROUSED BY THE SHOUT, “LOOK, THE BRIDEGROOM IS COMING! COME OUT AND MEET HIM!”
Those who say they are waiting in vigil for the bridegroom, are dozing off. Those who are not waiting ready for something, are the ones who are vigilantly watchful.
These virgins, in the story, both wise and unwise, dozed off all because of 1 reason, “THE BRIDEGROOM WAS DELAYED.”
They did not consider their lamps not to go off. Half of them did not consider the availability of extra oil. The people out there were busy preparing for their tomorrow. Verse 6 says at midnight,there was a voice. Meaning who ever shouted the coming of the Virgins’ Bridegroom, 1. Was not asleep.
2. Was not with the virgins in the room. That’s why he/she shouted, “ COME OUT…”
3. He/she knew that there was a Bridegroom to come, but he/she was never part of those who awaits His coming. That’s why he/she did not said, “ LET US GO MEET HIM.”
What am I trying to say: THE CHURCH OF CHRIST JESUS IS ASLEEP WHILE CLAIMING TO BE WAITING FOR HER BRIDEGROOM.
IN THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST ,THERE ARE THOSE WITH LIT LAMPS BUT WITHOUT EXTRA OIL. THESE ARE THOSE WHO ARE SAVED BUT WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT. AGAIN THERE ARE THOSE WHO HAVE BOTH THEIR LIT LAMPS AND THE EXTRA OIL -: THOSE WHO ARE SAVED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Painfully, THEY ARE ALL ASLEEP.
The world, full of the spirit of the antichrist is busy working in wait for the antichrist to take over.
What is happening in this world nowadays is things being but in order. Our own, President of Burkina Faso is turning things positively around and urging his fellow African heads of states to unite and set our continent free from colonial rule. He wants Africa to be visa free for fellow African. He wants to enrich Africa by having one currency and to have African countries sharing and selling their resources among themselves.
But what is going on are preparations, for both the coming of the bridegroom and the taking over of the lawless one.
My fellow African Christ disciples, let us wake up before it is too late. Let us not wait for the world to tell us that our Christ is coming for us, but let us tell the world to be ready. Let us help the foolish among us to be wise. Let us keep each other awake in vigil and vigilance for the coming of Christ. Let us be busy studying into understanding the signs and the times.
