Faith isn't the absence of trouble; it’s knowing Who is in the boat with you. ⛵🙌

Reading through Matthew 8 today and struck by the contrast: a centurion whose faith made Jesus marvel (v. 10), and the disciples who panicked in the storm (v. 26). I know which side of that line I want to be on, but I need His help to get there.

Lord, increase my faith. Help me to speak to my mountains with confidence instead of letting my fears speak to me.

Proverbs 29:15-17 emphasizes that loving, active discipline (rod and reproof) fosters wisdom and brings peace, while lack of structure (a child left to themselves) leads to shame and chaos. It highlights that correcting children brings long-term joy, whereas allowing undisciplined behavior brings disgrace. 1 Samuel 2:22-36
