Acts 1:8 "For you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you and you shall be my witness in Jerusalem in all Judea and to the entire world."
The word power here comes from the Greek dumanis which means ability, strength, influence, miraculous power, etc. The disciples were so terrified following the incidents of Jesus. Some enclosed themselves in doors, they had no strength to go out and testify about Jesus. They were afraid to propagate the Gospel. Jesus then told them to wait for the gift of the Holy Spirit. By this statement He assured them that they will get strength to go, they will have influence and the ability to perform miracles.
From these words of Jesus I can boldly proclaim "I am a Dynamite"
